Ashness Bridge - Lake District. A truly beautiful sunset captured at the famous Ashness Bridge yesterday evening. I was originally planning on ascending one of the nearby hills, but upon arriving at this location I couldn't resist stopping due to the sublime warm light and also the fact that the place was deserted. After photographing a few close-ups of the bridge, I noticed the sunlight filtering nicely through the trees so decided to change position and capture a wider angled perspective to include the rays.
