          GREER & BIRDS WERE NEVER REALLY a good mix. Not necessarily because she felt the urge to chase & eat them, but because they were so goddamn noisy that her sensitive hearing was always grated on. & Redwing was obviously alarmed because she had walked in looking very much like the cat she was, & so started squawking it’s friggen brains out almost immediately.

          “    -- but if you don’t shut the goddamn bird up, I’m gonna have to eat it.    ”
