"Mandeville native Michael Mauti revisited Saints history last season with a blocked punt against Atlanta in a primetime game. Steve Gleason was in attendance."
STEVE GLEASON: Astronaut.
“Steve Gleason, former New Orleans Saints football player, visited NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility today. Gleason is inspired by science and technology and how it can help people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or ALS, and toured the facility to see the work being done on NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and NASA’s Orion Spacecraft.
Astronaut Mike Hopkins and Michoud Director Bobby Watkins toured Gleason and his family through the facility. Looks like they had a great day!”
