Holy Moly, Nemo that is so many for these cuties! Let's see what I can do about answering those questions. For the sake of less confusion, we're going to be working with the canon divergent universe - meaning in this universe, they survive against Ethan, and the war with Mother Miranda.
Ship Questions - Heisenberg & Faline
Faline Brookes is my Resident Evil Village OC made to be shipped with Karl Heisenberg. If you do not support canon x oc, please move along. This post is not for you. I do not own rights to the canon characters and their respective universes.
Pre-Relationship:
3) Did any of their friends or family want them to get together?
To those who don't know, Heisenberg and Faline's relationship started out rather unconventionally. It was an arrangement made by Mother Miranda to keep tabs on Heisenberg's happenings, and ensure Faline remained complacent. It was a marriage of convenience orchestrated by Miranda for her own purposes. Which neither of them consented to. Seeing how Faline's body accepted the cadou, and she was already working under him, it just worked out. Although Alcina protested against it, it was seemingly well received by Donna, Angie and Morreau. Faline's parents and families were unaware of the arrangement, and it will remain that way.
4) Who felt romantic feelings first?
Hard to say if I'm going to be honest. More than likely, it was Heisenberg - whether he was aware of it or not. But it did not take long for him to become rather territorial and protective of her.
5) Did either of them try to resist their feelings?
It wasn't so much that Faline resisted her feelings, it was more so that she did not understand herself. Faline is a sensitive soul; but reading people's feelings is easier to her then understanding her own. Navigating those funny feelings was nerve-wracking, as it was confusing. It was a lot to process at once. Heisenberg, on the other hand, did resist his feelings for a multitude of reasons. I could list them all but then we would be here for the next month. Long story; short: it was an awkward situation that he did not have control over, and he was not a people person. Love and romance scared him. General: 4) Were they each other’s first anything (kiss, relationship, etc.)? Short answer: Yes. Long answer: I know I'm going to get some flak for this but yes, they were. In terms of committed relationships, marriages... intimacy. Faline was very inexperienced due a strict upbringing, and before Heisenberg, she had only been kissed once. It sucked. I know a lot of people like to make Heis out to be some sex icon or horndog that just fornicates as he wishes. But... let's be real here. Heisenberg hates everyone, and everything. He may be a charming, charismatic and have a lovely sultry voice, but he keeps cooped up in his factory and is buried in his work. Slut in theory; not in practice. If he was intimate with someone before Faline, it was when he was much younger, less bitter with Miranda and his situation, and was more than likely a drunken, one night stand. So as far as I am concern, they were each other's firsts for most.
5) What’s their height difference? Age difference? Faline stands at 4'10, and Heisenberg stands at 6'0. Heisenberg's age is unknown, but Faline is in her early 30s.
[I know there's a lot of debate on Heisenberg's canon height, but according to Neil, when Mocap actors are hired for roles, the companies hire as physically close as possible to the character's height. It's easier to capture the character's height then. Of course, there's exceptions for giants and extra small characters, but for the most part the actors are hired for both skills, acting and being as close to the character as possible. Therefore, I'm going with Neil's height, 6'0.]
6) What’s their relationship with each other’s families?
Messy.
7) Who takes the lead in social situations?
It varies upon the situation and who they are around. Generally speaking, Heisenberg is the one that takes charge. But if they are by themselves, it remains 50/50. Love:
4) How often do they cuddle/engage in PDA?
The two cuddle quite often, however; they usually save it for bedtime or early mornings when they are slow going. Once the two get moving on their responsibilities or plans, they’ll keep busy until Faline pulls Heis away to sleep. I swear she is the reason he gets a decent sleep schedule. In terms of PDA, the two rarely engage. If they do it is in suble ways. Such as Heisenberg holding his hand to Faline’s back, or Faline’s fingers grazing her husband’s. When visible to the public, the two are alert and have no time or luxury to be sappy.
5) Who initiates kisses?
It’s pretty 50/50, and it depends upon their headspace and how busy or distracted the other is.
6) Who’s the big and little spoon?
Although Faline is much smaller then Heisenberg, she is typically the big spoon. Spooning him allows him to relax enough while still being in front and acting as a protective shield for her. Win-win for everyone!
7) What are their favorite things to do together?
Honestly? Just being with each other. Time is precious to them. Before their escape, they didn’t have much luxury to relax and do fun activities. Quality time became a key staple for their relationship and remains as such. Even if its not a shared activity or chore, just being near one another is enough. I don’t think they necessarily have a favorite activity. Not to my knowledge yet at least.
8) Who’s better at comforting the other?
Faline by far. As charming and charismatic as Heis can be, tender words and a gentle touch is a little newer to him, and thus stump him. Faline has a compassionate heart and knows what to say to help Karl from spiraling.
Domestic Life:
6) Who worries the most?
Faline. Faline struggles with a multitude of mental health problems, including anxiety disorder. She is always getting lost in her thoughts, and worries that she needs help getting out of that continuous loops.
7) Who kills the bugs in the house?
Depends upon the bug. But more often then Heis just obliterates them into next century.
8) How do they celebrate holidays?
Heisenberg didn’t get the privilege to celebrate the holidays until Faline came along. Christmas is her favorite time of the year. Although she cannot dress the factory (or their home post-Miranda)to the nines, she still does her best to give Heisenberg a chance to heal his inner child. Heisenberg typically makes his gift for Faline, and its usually something she’ll keep on her or close to her. Her favorite is the necklace he made her. It’s not pique luxury, but it was crafted with love and care. Faline typically gets him something practical - something he’d use day-to-day. There’s always a sense of childlike glee when he gets a new gadget. Other then that, the two take it as a day to relax. No work gets done that day; only rest.
9) Who’s more likely to convince the other to come back to sleep in the morning?
Faline is not a morning person. Far from it. She is difficult to get out of bed, and she will protest having to get up. Heisenberg works himself tirelessly; to almost a hazardous level. On more then one occasion Faline has been able to coax her husband into snuggling back under the covers with her.
