I've been busier than ever. All good stuff though. Getting food on the table, etc. Date has been changed and venue has been determined for the Crooks show. Ten billion years later. I'm really stoked for it. Now I have to finish (start) paintings and start whoring it like crazy. Some other stuff is going to be added, most notably live music. I'm trying to get Philly Moves down, which will be a nice little reunion. Don't know if it'll work out scheduling-wise. If not them, I'm going to guilt some friends in bands to play a free show with little to no sound system available. Who needs monitors, really.
I somehow managed to get the day off work today. I worked almost the last two weeks straight at Wallack's with no days off and no days at the tattoo shop, and some of those days I worked open to close. So someone I covered for took my shift today and now I have the whole day to paint and draw. I got up at 6 and I have yet to actually accomplish anything but I'm going to start right after I stop babbling on here.
I have two skateboards to finish painting, a bunch of medium sized paintings to do for a group show at Fall Down on Saturday (oh yea! Group show at Fall Down on Saturday! at 9 pm. Go if you live in Ottawa!), a drawing commission, a big painting for my brother, and then the Crooks paintings. I'm definitely forgetting something. Oh another two drawings for a website. I'm on a roll.
PLUS it's going to be relatively hot out today! FINALLY! YAY!

Hope everyone's wonderful. I keep seeing such wonderful posts from artists I like, especially all the OSA kids and they're just killing it. Chinatown Blossom, grad shows, wheatpasting and screenprinting and painting and drawing. I'm lucky to know such ridiculously talented people and to soak up their awesome initiative and be inspired by it.
