OPEN STARTER
Logan let her eyes rest on the kids as they sat at the tables getting their faces painted. “You think the paint I already put on their face would have been enough.” She teased, telling the person next to her. Her eyes then drifted over to her husband who was with their eldest while she was getting her face painted. It was still surreal to see him up and walking when she thought he was never going to get out of that hospital bed. She breathed in as she turned her head to look over at the person standing next to her. “How have you been? It’s been a while.”
