Hearing some of the thunder and rain hitting the top of the roof of her bakery, Elise was considering closing since she wasn’t expecting anyone to show up. It was late and she would be closing in a half hour anyway, so, was she actually losing anything? While putting everything away, beginning to clean up so she could get out of there and get home before it got too bad, she heard the bell of the front door. “I was just --” She stopped when she turned around to see the person soaked from the rain.
