Better than average, I would say. I can keep calm through most annoyances, but everyone has their breaking point, and I typically resort to violence once I’ve reached mine.

😂 - telling jokes 

It’s not something I would consider a particularly strong talent of mine. I’m not complete devoid of a sense of humor, but Deirdre tells me that my jokes are “dad jokes,” and that’s supposedly not a good thing.

🎁 - making gifts 

Making gifts? That’s not really something I can do. Buying, stealing, and picking out gifts are another matter entirely, though.

Nicodemus looks like a pretty even mix between his parents, while his siblings all tended to favor their grandparents more.

Due to the frequency of his clothes being ruined by blood, he buys two or three of everything.

While Nick is conversational in English, he’s not actually fluent. Anduriel picks up a surprising amount of slack for him. Without his Coin, he could actually get a little lost in technical discussions. The only languages he’s fluent in are Latin, Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.

Nicodemus is more or less ambidextrous. However, this is the result of boredom and not how he was born. He’s naturally right-handed, but books were not always common household items, and the television wasn’t invented for a long time. He had to entertain himself somehow.

His eyesight is actually pretty... questionable. It would be even worse without Anduriel’s help.

Nicodemus knows every word to the musical Chicago by heart. He rarely owns up to it, and will try and defend himself by saying he only watches it because it’s about killing people and playing the justice system like a fiddle, but the truth is that he just plain likes it. Too bad it clashes with his ~dark and mysterious~ aesthetic.

Single-Arm

You fight with one arm! This shows that you are incredibly confident in your ability and that you have enough grace, speed, and power to pull it off. You also like to work in a couple kicks here and there to throw your opponent off. Beware of the dual blade and battou-jutsu, however, as the dual blade will have two swords to come at you with while the attacks from the battou-jutsu may be too powerful to block with one arm due to the sheer force and speed behind them.

☩: Do they practice any sort of religion? If so, is it the same as their family’s?

Nic, like his family, is Jewish. His relationship with his religion, specifically, is a little rocky for a variety of reasons (a significant one of which being the Fallen in his head), but culturally, he adheres to practices and holidays he’s comfortable with. Similarly, that’s how he raised Deirdre.

💊: Have they ever dabbled in drugs? If so, what kinds?

Boy, has he done drugs... The fun thing about drug use is that the availability and social acceptance of drugs (both recreational and medicinal) varies wildly depending on country and era. Living as long as he has and in as many places as he has, Nicodemus has done it all. The only drugs he hasn’t tried are modern, lab-produced ones.

These days, he’s come to the realization that Anduriel can provide him with any intoxicating effect he desires, but at the same time, it’s better for him to keep a clear head as often as possible. So, he’s not much into drug use anymore. Smoking and drinking still manage to remain vices of his, but that’s largely for the aesthetics. He honestly believes he looks cool kicking back with a cigarette and some bourbon.

🌙: Where is the most unusual place they’ve fallen asleep at?

In Tessa’s arms.

Realistically, probably a number of strange places in the NeverNever. He partied with Fae in his younger days.

💞: What was their first love like?

It ended in disaster. Death, to be more specific, but it’s something Nic never speaks of. Theirs was a romance shot down before it ever had a chance to take off. There isn’t much to say about what it was like when it never truly was.

I haven’t had a young child in awhile, and no one asks me to watch theirs, so it’s hard to say...

Tessa, this is literally my job. This is what I’ve done for a living for the last couple thousand years.

I remember things I witnessed firsthand quite well, and I know much of what my favored members of the Order lived through, but understand that I have never had a history class in my life. I have to ask Anduriel for information regarding anything prior to my birth.

“With style” is the only way I dress.

Who needs to express their feelings? That seems like a waste of time.
