 When Jasper was born, his life was already decided for him. He was born in the midst of a tense ceasefire between his people, the Dachsen, and the government of his homeland. Escape from a slave camp gave him a chance. Now he plans to use that gift to build a future for his people from nothing, even if it means reigniting a civil war. 

 Now a famous freedom fighter known only for his penchant for flames, Jasper travels under the guise of being a prize fighter. All along his route, he liberates slave camps and destroys Crown facilities. It's a wonder that he hasn't been caught yet. Yet being the active word. 

 Anyone hunting him down had better know one thing: he won't go down without a fight.

Description: She wasn't born into much, but her family was family. They were working class, her father working in the mines and her mother working as a cleaner at Crown facilities. That is, until her mother got sick. It was a curable disease, but a very expensive one.

They weren't able to afford the medicine, so they resorted to stealing it. At first, her father did it, but then people started getting suspicious and Rayne volunteered. They stole complete medicine at first, though soon the medical facilities in their area got heavier guard and they needed to settle for the ingredients.

One day, Rayne was out collecting supplies and her father was cooking down a new batch of medicine. He botched the process and their building burned down. Now alone, Rayne decided that she had no respect for the government that had doomed her mother and made her an orphan and a criminal. So now, you need information then you come to Rayne. Legality is no issue and treason isn't a deterrent.

Description: Born to a camp of escaped Dachsen hiding from the Crown, he had a peaceful upbringing even if it meant frequent moves. Ren, however, was raised by his grandmother as his parents left in secret the night after his birth.

Everyone claimed that they didn't know where his parents went, but Ren was determined to find them regardless. At age twenty, he left on a mission to find them. He travelled across the continent in five years, hunting for a living, finding nothing.

Finally he's arrived at Capitol, the last place that they could possibly have fled to. Over the five years of fighting through some of the worst situations Kohlderon has to offer, there was one question he didn't ask. Does he want to get involved in what made them leave?

Description: Ash was born and raised in a rural town as a blacksmiths son. He intended to be just like his father. Even as the war swept across the continent, they found themselves blissfully separated from the conflict. Until the Crown caught word of Dachsen in the settlement.

Dozens of heavily armed Crown soldiers stormed the town, burning it to the ground. Ash survived, being in a building towards the outer edge of the town at the time of the siege. His wife and child were not quite so lucky.

Now lost and angry, Ash moved to the largest nearby city - Rockport. His specialty as a weaponsmith secured him a job quickly with Queen, first building the strange weapons from stolen government blueprints, then selling them. The only complication is that Queen also has a penchant for watching the Strings, and the recent behaviour has her concerned that something big is coming.

Description: Ta'el wasn't born, exactly. Not in the way that we think of it. Her birth was the day that she woke, lying on her back in the middle of a wasteland left in the wake of a war. She wandered for days in her ruined, dirt stained clothes until she came across a small camp of travellers who agreed to have her travel with them.

They settled on a farm, and Ta'el settled with them. She found herself surrounded by change and growth and yet she herself never seemed to undergo the same development.

Behind that fact, and many other mysteries like the black wound in her chest that never heals, might be the reason that she was on that battlefield in the first place. Only she doesn't remember the person who died on that field, nor the cause they died for. It comes back to her in startling shards that guide her down a dangerous, but important, path.

Description: He was born into privilege, the son of the nations Head of Defense. He was poised to take that position in either of his parents stead, claiming the role of head of House Corda. In theory, he was set for life.

Then the war came. His parents re-enlisted, despite their accomplished and completed military careers in the hopes of saving their country. Both were lost soon in the war, and with no other options, with no family willing to take him in Jay, born Magellan, enlisted under the Crown's Order.

Years of training changed him, and eventually he was no longer Magellan Corda in name alone, but also in action. Now, as one of their best operatives, he's finally seeing the darkness behind the Crown, ruling force of Kohlderon. The question is, is there anything that he can do?
