It wasn't a busy day. Makoto would have described it as relatively ordinary. Everyone was excited for the next meet just around the corner, and the captain was working with Kou and Goro in his spare time to come up with a regimen that would get the boys in top shape for the competition. School and home life was the same as always beyond that. Same stuff, different day.
However, Makoto had been pulled aside, asked if he wouldn't mind showing a new student around the campus. He didn't mind. His grades wouldn't take a hit from him missing out on a bit of class. It wouldn't be too hard to catch up, especially if Haru took notes while he was gone.
Agreeing, the second year walked out of the room, pausing to take a quick look around for the new student. Considering students were making their way to their classrooms it wasn't too hard to find the odd one out. "Hey," came the simple greeting, Makoto offering a friendly smile. "New student, I'm guessing?"
