Happy Birthday to the flaming lead of the knights (January 16th)
The one person who doesn’t need a distraction to play anything because she’s probably out working some case anyway
Remembers her birthday solely to keep track of how many years she’s been an exorcist
10 Years active and she becomes a Senior Exorcist
It’s like collecting Boy Scout badges for her
That year the FK take her out for a celebratory dinner and drinks
They also get (make) her a cake with something like “Congrats on living longer than the average lifespan.”
There’s also a comment or two about how this will shorten their own lifespan
No one’s heard her laugh this hard in awhile
Needless to say she loved it.
Other birthdays, that’s harder to deal with
It almost becomes a competition to see who can find a place Phe doesn’t have ghost stories of
One time they ended up getting a free pass to a hot spring by the owner after exorcising a ghost one winter
“It doesn’t count as a ghost story if there are technically no more ghosts, right?”
She doesn’t say it out loud, but she enjoys these creative surprise outings way more than actual birthday gifts
