//This about sums it up.
fallenprinceoferebor replied to your post: //I am in a drabble mood.
Something between Mell and Andy? too lazy to change windows to ask you in Anders’ blog… (in which Mia is a lazy daisy)
//I'll see what I can come up with. Any preferences for genre?
Thousand Years, Words I never said.
A Thousand Years (Ancient World-verse)
"But Mama, I don't want to go!" Raighne's breath was catching in her chest. It hurt worse with every thump of her heart as the soldiers moved down the line, separating the captives into smaller groups. She clung to her mother's hand like she hadn't done since she was small, as if somehow that would keep them together.
"You must be strong, stóirín," her mother whispered into her hair. "You must be strong for your sister, and you must stay together, whatever happens."
Only a few yards off, a soldier pulled a screaming young mother away from her son. The boy was barely old enough to walk. Raighne turned her eyes away, not wanting to see what was coming.
"Mama, I'm frightened. What if I can't find you again?"
"Raighne, I named you my little mighty one for a reason. Your father came from the North and you have the blood of his people and mine in your veins. You are made of sterner stuff than you know, my darling, and you will survive this." The dark-haired woman raised her chin proudly as the soldiers paused before them. Her daughters held fast to each other. None of them cried.
"Names?" the tribune grunted.
"Rhiannon," her mother said, evenly. "And my daughters, Raighne and Siobhan."
"You, stay here. You two, over there." A rude gesture of a baton, and the three of them were pulled apart. "And give the heathens some proper names."
"You, Irene," said the soldier, pointing to Siobhan. The girl hid her face in her sister's shoulder. Raighne stared straight ahead. Blood of the North, and blood of Eire. Her mother had not named her for nothing. She would be strong.
"And you...Estella."
Words I Never Said (Modern-verse, Auckland)
"You're a bastard for seducing me my first night in. But I'm not complaining because the sex was fantastic."
"If I find one more pair of ladies' pants dangling from the lamp, I'm going to make you EAT them."
"No, that's all right, you don't need trousers."
"If I ever decide to become a call girl, I'm using you as a reference."
"You could do the picking-up yourself once in a while. I'm a PA, not a housekeeper."
"You know, this doesn't have to be anything, but we're two really lonely people in a big world that doesn't give a rat's ass. Maybe we could be a little less lonely together."
"The plane wasn't delayed. I missed the flight on purpose. I wasn't ready to leave."
Bonus: "I'd stay, if you wanted me to."
If I ever, EVER find out who's been sending mean things to Mia, I will punch the living daylights out of them. Seriously. You're not funny, you're not cool; Anon hate is something you should never even THINK about sending! I mean, if you don't like someone, fine. Unfollow them. But don't send them rude and hateful things just for the sake of being mean. We're not two year olds; we can control what we say like a mature human being.
And this goes for anyone: if I find out you've been sending hate to other people, I will not hesitate to block and report you. Period.
End rant.
Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Anon, go fuck yourself up the arse with a rusty, blazing iron, will you? Chris is an amazing mun. She's been supportive when I needed her, even when we didn't know each other that well. She's a good friend, and I love writing with her, even though we don't do it much (much to my displeasure). You need to back off and leave her the fuck alone. If you don't like it, then unfollow. No one forced you to click the follow button in the first place. Fuck off. Mia, out.

Meeting Fíli
Beanie huffed her bangs out of her face for the third time that morning. She would have brushed them back, tucked them behind her ear, but her arms were full, holding a large pie. Kíli had promised her that Fíli would love her… eventually. It was that part she was worried about. This was Fíli… Kili’s hero, his big brother… the dwarf who practically raised him. Her heart was beating so fast she thought it was going to burst right out of her chest. She wasn’t nervous around his mother anymore… Dís had been wonderful right from the first. Then again, she had been a sobbing mess when they’d first met. It had been the anniversary of her own mother’s death, and Dís had stepped in and been the mother Beanie had so desperately needed.
She hated that she was feeling this nervous… but she wasn’t above bringing a pie if it might help smooth the way. She didn’t want it to seem like a bribe, more… a peace offering. Something she’d made with her own two hands to share with Kíli’s older brother. She also had a small carving in her pocket as a gift. She huffed her bangs out of her face one last time before shifting the pie to one hip as she knocked three times on Kíli’s door. Fili was the only one home… Kíli had told her he wanted to ‘give them some time to get to know each other.’ She’d hid just how nervous she was, knowing how important it was to him, and she took a deep breath as she heard heavy footfalls inside come nearer to the door. When it opened and she got her first glimpse of Kíli’s elder brother, she gave a small curtsy, bowing her head and smiling. “Sigrid Thorvaldsson, at your service.”

"Brother!" Kili beamed at the other and strode over to him, "It is good to see you. Did Uncle Thorin give you grief about the prank?"
