Day 19: Fantasy - - This is my Umi Ryuuzaki costume from Magic Knights Rayearth. I made it in 2008 I think. It was a really ambitious project at that time. We didn't have the materials or resources we do now so all of the armor was made by heating and shaping XPVC and found plastic objects. It was my first time working with resin. It was also the first and ONLY costume I have ever pulled an all nighter for. I HATED this costume once it was done because making it was such a miserable experience, but I am thankful for it because to this day I will never let myself crunch that hard again.
