- As funny as they are, I do not see where the crocs/bad style headcanons come from. Like this man had the biggest brain moment with his torn cape because what you gonna do if it gets ripped? It's the style.

- That being said, shirtless sleeves lol.

- Anyways this man is a softie. HE USES SLEEVES SO HE DOESN'T HURT PEOPLE WITH HIS QUIRK (like damn I guess he KNOWS how sharp he can get)

- Well rethinking everything, his style is certainly unique, but it makes sense. And I love how he gets these things about those he admires? Like the hero name and the bravery - and yes I do think he styled hair horns after Mina because she's brave. THEY HAVE SUCH A WHOLESOME DYNAMIC INSPIRING EACH OTHER

- Anyways the effort that goes into his hairstyle is uh, quite a bit. Like the quirk definitely helps but it's a lot of hair products and dye, we admire the dedication. Now I wonder if there's art of him where his hair is starting to show his natural color again...

- He and Tetsutetsu are the type of friends who are like very close and cuddle a lot and make everyone think they're dating but they're just soft bros (or a super wholesome couple if you ship them, point is they were always like this)

- They also are the type of friends who would stop speaking to each other because it's the last cookie. For about two hours, I think. And they would still be the "if they're fighting, why they holding hands? They miss each other" vibe.

- He loves talking about stuff and gets very excited. A day working with the pro heroes? Sure. "And Suneater's attacks were like fwhooosh... Then Fatgum arrived and BAM" kind of things. Yes, this headcanon exists thanks to his iconic "pom pom"

- By the way, his team is so close to him like a family and even when he has an agency or whatever they're still very close. By this I mean Kiri, Tetsutetsu, Tamaki, Fatgum, and Yaomomo (yes she should be in that team, IT MAKES SENSE)

Some days more than others, Alexei questioned what the lot he’d been assigned in life allowed him to actually do with his time on the mortal plane.

He could see and communicate with spirits of nearly any type, and he’d gotten reasonably good at negotiating with them, but it wasn’t a service he charged for regularly. Charging fees for exorcisms and home-cleansing services was usually the work of scam artists, especially as they hit four figures. He preferred to charge only for the equivalent of minimum wage instead, but he usually tacked on a small fee if he was injured on a call. He’d made about $100 from being hit with projectile books and cups since he’d started practicing, and an additional $50 for the antlers that now adorned his head.

Instead, he supplemented his income by giving banjo lessons, playing at kids’ bar mitzvahs in his old neighborhood and busking in the street when he got bored. The latter was always a good choice when it came to people-watching. It was proving an especially good choice in certain sectors and districts of this city--some were intriguing and full of faces and conversations unlike any he’d ever seen, while others were outright unsettling.

Sector 004 was proving to be more in line with the former, but he never stuck around after dark. Glancing at people here was always fun, with lots of variation in what he saw at any given time. However, there were always a few that caught his eye.

Such was the case for the younger girl that caught his eye. He wasn’t sure how much of a hurry she was in, but he knew he’d seen her drop the softbound book onto the walkway a few feet ahead of him. He was in the middle of a verse, but he stopped immediately.

“Uh, miss?” He called out to her, getting up to grab the fallen book as quickly as he could. It wouldn’t be any good if it got stepped on anyway. Getting louder so her wouldn’t be drowned out, he said again, “I think you’ve dropped something!”
