           ▪「  ★  ▬  The illusion of peace offered by the tranquil atmosphere around the lake didn't fool the young pilot. No matter how much they dressed up the areas around the facility and attempted to make them attractive to Shinn, he knew that it was all a facade. Pulling a phone from his pocket, he gently brushed the smudge of dirt in the corner away before flipping it open. One look was enough to tell that it didn't belong to him, an individual who always had a sour look on his face. In addition to being pink in color, there were cute charms hanging on the side. 

           He wasn't surprised to see the 'no signal' sign attached on the corner of his screen. Ever since the incident that destroyed his life took place, the signal never came back; and he knew it was never going to either. The pilot assumed they allowed him to keep the phone since there was no sim card and a lack of activity in terms of calling and messaging. It was simply a memento from his deceased sister. As he clicked open the gallery containing all the pictures stored, his ears picked up on the sound of leaves rustling behind him.

           Snapping the phone shut, he shoved it in his pocket before putting all of his attention on the bushes. The scowl on his face disappeared the second a young girl emerged. A look of shock washed over his expression as he stared at her. "... Are you being forced to participate as well?" As realization dawned upon him, the surprise changed into anger. Clenching his fists angrily, he narrowed his eyes before glaring at the ground. "Disgusting people are rotten to the core."

Though the big move was deliberate and last minute, getting his belongings together and settling down into his new apartment hadn't taken too long; there was no turning back now. Noboru would have to carry out his avid ambition with firm resolve now that everything was the real deal. Though, it wouldn’t be much of a problem—at least, that's what he told himself in false conviction—just a childish notion of play in the end. Small legs restlessly kicking to and fro as Noboru sat on his pre-made bed, honestly, he was bored and irritated; A few hours having passed and he had hopped up and grabbed his messenger bag and shoes, taking note of that special apartment number he had been informed of. Apartment 3.009... Alluka Zoldyck. It was a peculiar name, sounding extremely foreign... perhaps apart of a different side of the world Noboru had never even heard about. But most importantly.. This is... who I might marry someday...? That was a rather far-fetched concept. Noboru wasn't even entirely sure what it would be like to have someone like that--what was it even like to be in love with someone?! Or going out on a date, or whatever it was that happened when you got stricken with cupid's arrow?!--in one hand, Noboru was just plain as day curious, but in the other, entirely terrified. Taking a deep breath, and gulping down pure, dry air that made his throat clench up, Noboru took a moment to gain some clarity, tiny hand knocking on the respective door. It was now or never.. and it wouldn't hurt to say hello---

Her intuition told her it would be for the best to adapt to the situation. Even if she wasn't fond of the idea of being assigned a spouse and a child to care for, she would deal with it. It would just be another job for her. All it would take for her to set her mind to it. Or least that's what she thought would be for the best. 

She was curious about the other spiders and their location. The thought of some of them with spouses and around a child was quite humorous. Infamous thieves playing the role of mom and dad... she remembered that she herself was in the same position so who was she to be laughing. It was... odd. Living a normal life that was. An apartment, job, and a... family?

"Time to look around," she said under her breath.

Paper Skinᄽoᄿ Alluka

       Five sons. The first was skilled in the family trade, the eldest who became just what everyone expected. The second a spoiled pig who spent most of his time in his room. The third a prodigy, someone that was going to take over some day, someone the parents loved immensely. The fourth was an 'abomination' someone who had unique abilities, and thus earned special treatment, and the love and attention of the third brother. The final child, skilled, but hardly good enough to earn attention of much more than his mother.

        With that many children, of course it was natural that some children would be favoured over the others. While the fourth child wasn't exactly 'favoured' by any other than the third, the powers that they possessed earned a lot of interest from everyone in the family. With such skilled older siblings, it was hard to find a proper place. Honestly, it was a story that the child would have been happy to be rid of, if it hadn't been for the person he was faced eye to eye with. Lips quivered for a moment, but the expression otherwise remained mostly unchanged.

       What was he doing here? Kalluto could only stare. Forcing his body into a relaxed state, Kalluto took a few steps closer, paper fan lifting to cover his lips. "...Nii-san..." His voice greeted with no emotion what so ever. Too many issues arose with his presence here. There was reasons he was locked away at the family estate. What kind of chaos would those powers wreak here? Those powers that weren't meant to be known by anyone outside the family. Thoughts almost immediately shifted to how the other members of his family might react on seeing Alluka running freely wherever he pleased. Was this something he should really even concern himself with? He really didn't find himself caring too greatly... But the family...

       Fingers clutched tighter at the fan tighter. He should just leave, there was nothing for him to gain by staying. And to be fair, family ties didn't seem to account for much here. Annoying... So annoying...
