ImportAlliance Fall Meet 2015 Coverage

As soon as the information for the Fall Meet was posted there were a select few whiners that said, ‘why isn’t the event in Nashville?’ and ‘That venue isn’t big enough.’ Which was really frustrating to me. It was as if people thought ImportAlliance was purposely avoiding Nashville AND didn’t know what they’re doing. When clearly, ImportAlliance knows how to throw a great event. They do it all the time.

This event from the get-go was going to have a lot of cool things going for it. A drag strip for one and a oval to drift on. Sure, people had to park on grass. ImportAlliance is just one of many events that happen at Beechbend. The event started out on Saturday morning and it was a freaking cold morning. After vendors got setup and people started to roll in the sun came out in full force. As a fair skinned person that burns– I remember being super excited to feel the sun come out to thaw everything out.

The drifting at ImportAlliance was a real crowd pleaser. There were some Pro-Am as well as some formulaD drives from ENJUKU Racing. ENJUKU was doing ride alongs for people who wanted to pay.

Nate Hamilton who is now with ENJUKU racing for FormulaD is one of the two FD drivers there. He is a really nice guy. Every time I’ve met him he’s been real chill and humble. I hope he does well next season.

Thanks to ImportAlliance and Beechbend for another great fall meet. Cars are great and all but the thing that really gets me excited about IA events are all the people who I’ve met through the years. I’m really excited for the Spring Meet!
