Today I have finished my first film. I can honestly say that the journey of writing, producing and directing this film has taught me so much about myself. It has showed me my strength and weakness as an artist and the importance of listening to opinions of others. Allowing various stakeholders to contribute to something I hold so dear has been refreshing and enlightening. I have learned that film making can and should not be a one-man pursuit but rather a collaborative effort. This process has excited something new in the direction of my overall craft and given potency to my conviciton. I can’t thank the people involved in this production enough. As the year begins its 3rd quarter you can expect to hear more about the process of promotion. A website will be launching soon along with festival dates and eventually a premier date for personal relations and collaborators.
