Fallout 4 Build: Alistair Theirin [Dragon Age]
Tʜᴇ Fʀɪᴇɴᴅʟɪᴇsᴛ Bᴀᴛᴛʟᴇ Tᴀɴᴋ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ Cᴏᴍᴍᴏɴᴡᴇᴀʟᴛʜ
In his home series, Alistair is a trained warrior, first by the templars and then by the Grey Wardens. The Wardens are also notoriously hardy, which is as much to do with their initiation ritual as their training.
Personality-wise, Alistair is quick with jokes and one-liners—often at his own expense, and he’s a definite romantic at heart. Although I wouldn’t call him stupid, you wouldn’t find him hiding behind a stack of books. His upbringing through the Chantry left him somewhat naive about worldly matters, but he’s quick to adapt, and that same upbringing left him with a pretty strong moral compass. Additionally, Alistair is nothing if not fiercely loyal to those who earn his trust.
The end result is a dude who fights up close because he can take as much damage as he gives; with a lean towards sturdy armor and as much resistance as possible, that counts for a lot. It also means picking “good” dialogue choices for the most part, with room for the occasional bit of sarcasm. While playing someone with a moral compass in a world where shooting-and-looting is an acceptable survival strategy might put some players off, chances are you’re here for a challenge. Sometimes that’s taking on a gang of Super Mutants with just a baseball bat. Other times, it’s choosing to part with some caps to ensure someone else survives.

PS: I’ve said it before, but shout-out to @celeritassagittae for giving it a look-see and providing support as I tried to properly render this boy’s face in the character creator. Even though I used plenty of references and it looks decent enough, I think I could still probably tweak it just a little bit more...
