I know a lot of people loath the mechanics but I feel like the settlement system is the most defining trait for the sole survivor's legacy.

To be fair, this is coming from someone who uses the settlement system like I'm playing the violent love child of the sims and animal crossing and spend most of my in game hours building cute houses and stores.

Regardless, the sole survivor is either a honored veteran or a trained lawyer, so they're going into the wasteland with a fuckton of pre-war knowledge. Plus the implications of the in-game mechanics, realistically, is that they figure out sophisticated enough engineering, plumbing, wiring, all sorts of shit, like artistic shit and use those skills to raise cities. My starlight drive in has two story high concrete walls, tons of missle turrets, multiple space sentry bot guards with nuke upgrades, and everyone has their own house with plumbing electricity and decor. People are regularly armed and armored. There is a sophisticated and guarded caravan network and more food and water than my settlers even with modded game caps can consume. I have factories to build shit I need.

Even with the bizzare and often draconian and borderline gunner concentration camps routes people go are realistically fucking insane by wasteland standards. No matter who the sole survivor sides with realistically their legacy is bringing some sort of safety and civilization to the wasteland for at least one group. You really have to go out of your way to do otherwise tbh. Even if you really try to avoid doing any settlement building the game still makes you do some.

Anyhow the settlement system is super underrated and I feel like it goes a long way for the general welfare of the commonwealth.

Just found out about the Fallout 1 remake in Fallout 4 and maybe I can finally enjoy an older Fallout game

holy shit, i know im not the only one tired of seeing the whole fucking toonblr community argue about otherkin and dysphoria shit or whatever.

i know its an issue, but it has nothing to do with toonblr, take it out of the tag. its your blog, do what you want, but dont sit here and say that the toontown community is trash just because some people dont have the same opinion as you.

if you think this community is trash just because of that, leave.

im also very tired of the hateful anons being sent to people, especially my friend micro-manager. we're supposed to love and support each other, not put each other down? get your ass off of anon or dont say shit at all.

can we just get the stupid drama out of the tag and go back to being chill with each other and just play the fucking game? some of us have different opinions, lets all be nice about it, get along, and stop attacking each other.
