Fall Week 06

This week I did some much needed look development for the environment as well as sat down with Maddi and M to review the animatic and strengthen the story. This was probably the most productive week we have had all quarter as a crew. That being said, I am still disappointed in how long it took for changes to be made in order for us to function like a real crew with a sense of direction. Especially when these problems have been quite prevalent for weeks now and now there is an unjustified crunch on us to pick up for lost time.

Fall Week 05

I mostly staging studies and some layout sketches this past week.

Note: I haven't gotten feedback or acknowledgement on these several drawings once from the director over the weekend even though I started posting my work to the films server starting on Saturday at 11am. This is while I could see her responding to other artist work and giving them feedback.

Fall-Week 01

This week we begin really working on production. I am focusing on exploring character design, giving more input on the main characters as well as a lot of exploration of our “antagonist” who we have not decided on. We are also transferring the work we did over the summer to dropbox, and getting set up as an official crew. Very exciting! Here is the work I did over the summer inbetween my classes.

Crispy and Fe lipo, are my german brothers from foreign mothers who make me laugh so hard everyday. I can't wait to crash more parties with these two and the sound box this fall in Santa Barbara.
