“I been at the shelter today and really love spending a load of time with this amazing little puppy... I’m sure I want him but I don’t think that my parent’s would be to thrilled with the idea... Can I just like spend the time at the shelter with him?” Evan asked with a small laugh as he picked up the little puppy.

as the male figure approached his front door, lily already had her lower body suspended out of the window. the sound of the door shutting closed echoed through the house followed by the male’s voice calling for lily’s female friend. lily lowered herself out the window, hanging by just her arms. footsteps could be heard climbing up the stairs. the two girls said their goodbyes and lily pushed off against the house, dropping two stories, landing gracefully on her feet. upon landing in the front yard something was thrown at her head, it was her hat. she must of forgotten it in the room. lily looked up to thank them when she saw the male waving at her, gun in his hand. he shot. he missed. but it didn’t take lily long to realize that it wasn’t bullets he was shooting at her, it was vervain darts. YIKES ! the blonde took off down the street, bumping into someone in front of the neighboring home “oh  w h o o p s ”

Quinn sat down on a bench in the park and took a deep breath in and out. It was her lunch break, and she’d spent the morning on the phone with a very confused and frustrated customer, who didn’t seem to understand the concept of needing to pay for a gym membership. She took a bite of her sandwich when she sensed someone nearby, “If you want to talk about gym memberships the answer is no.”

Kyra was stuck on the afternoon shift at the club, and completely bored. She began experimenting with different drinks. She mixed one and took a sip, and promptly made a face. She was so distracted with her little experiments that she didn’t notice that someone had come up to the bar. “Sorry, um, what can I get you?”

Juniper gripped her red pen tightly, smiling slightly as she circled, and crossed out various grammatical errors, or sentences to be cut. Editing gave her the sense of control she was so sorely lacking everywhere else in her life. There was a correct way to do things, and she loved the feeling of making sure there wasn’t a single comma out of place. She perked up as her vampire hearing picked up someone’s footsteps approaching her door. “Can I help you with something?”

Jesse groaned as he sat on the porch of the house with a cigarette in his hands and a mouthful of smoke blown out of his mouth. “I swear to God, Why couldn’t mom and dad be happy with just me and Nala... If my brother’s don’t knock it off soon, I am going to kill them both and them burn them so they don’t come back!” Jesse growled. It was no secret Nala was his one sibling he got on with the most. He brought the cigarette to his lips and took a drag before pulling it back to his side before looking up sensing someone stood in front of him.

With his back turned to the door of the office, Beaux crossed his arms scanning the complicated looking board before him even once he finished his shift for the day. A crime that only few people worked on, as there were still some people in the department that didn’t know of the supernatural species. With a deep sigh the male followed the red  strings of wool that connected names and pictures and motives but still couldn’t see what was the one thing that connects everything. Being deep in his thoughts he only realized someone had knocked once the door opened so he quickly turned around to see it he had to hide the board from one of his colleagues that wasn’t aware of everything around them. “Hey, did you need Matt?” He asked as he was in his office after all.

It was late when Evelyn slinked into the Mystic Grill, making her way to over to the bar she snagged an empty bar stool. Glancing at the bartender, she nodded towards the bottles of liquor. "Bourbon, thanks," she said, before glancing around the full bar, scanning for any familiar faces. When her drink appeared before, she took a gulp, momentarily losing focus on her surroundings. Glancing back up, she raised her eyebrows as she took notice of the person before her. "Care for a drink?"
