i will take ANY excuse to yap about manon, so thank u :DDD

she's genderqueer! she may be femme and use she/her pronouns, but in ways i kind of can't articulate, she is a fundamentally queer character to me. i think her presentation is so deliberately performative that it can't be anything but queer.

manon is quite artistic, but she's completely useless at anything musical. she loves to dance, but she can't sing for shit, nor can she play any instruments.

she's actually more of a cat person than a dog person. irene is a special exception to this, but mostly manon greatly prefers cats. in her original canon, she's got crazy-cat-lady levels of cats. like, at least five :D

she makes most of her own clothes, and many of vincente's! she's a very in-her-head sort of person, and she finds handicraft like sewing, painting, etc. very calming because it forces her to live in her body for a while.

one of my primary inspirations for her character in her current era is julian from TSH. take from that what you will : )

I used to watch a lot of movies, like I would watch 3 movies a day on my days off. Now I barely watch anything 😭

I was also a big music fan. I listened to music all the time. I was always with my headphones on when I was out and I would put music on while playing games or studying. I almost don't listen to music anymore 😭

I was also very into video games. I played a lot of different games. I played on PC, and I had two consoles (XBox 360 and PlayStation 3). And as you can guess I barely play anything nowadays 😭

Becca lore time ig She's from Chestnut Ridge so i can keep her in the same proximity as Zoe and Marissa I'm not saying her family were radical Christians but...there was some Ballerina Farm stuff going on there. She has numerous siblings. She's the second youngest. The only girl of the family too. Her mom died from pregnancy complications when Becca and her little brother were small.

Her dad's a pastor. They're close, but they're not c l o s e. He gets along more with her brothers. As a result, she's super close to her grandma and lives with her now that she's graduated from Britechester. Going to college was a big part of her identity so now she doesn't know what to do, feels like her safety blanket has been snatched from under her feet. Her grandma is sick and often bed-ridden nowadays so she's doubling as a caretaker in the rusty farmhouse.
