Hi! I am Falmefa on Ao3, and for the most part I write Marble Hornets Fanfiction. Though, I can't guarantee the speed or time of publishing, as sadly fanfiction doesn't pay the bills, and I'm chronically ill. I have several in progress currently, and a billion others I want to write. I never give up on or forget a fic - even if it's gone more than a year without an update.

Things I write:

Fantasy Au's

G*re, just with heavy content warnings, exceptions see below.

Nsfw, exceptions see below.

Stuff I don't write:

Zombie Apocalypse/World-Ending Au's: Anything where the world is or has ended, post apocalyptic stuff.

Cheating/Infidelity: I just cringe really hard, can't handle those emotions.

Anything in the abuse category, Including, P*d*philia/Inc*st/etc: Exceptions being a past mention of trauma related to these subjects.

Animal D***h/ab**e: All animals are magically immortal in my fics. (Even if they're a floating disembodied head) Exceptions would be mentions of an off-screen hunt for food/cooking food.

Any racist/phobic/r*p* stuff*: That doesn't have to do with the characters development. For instance, a character growing past their own self-phobia, or escaping phobic people, that's alright.

Completely bad endings: I'm a big sap 😅, I can't write fics with entirely bad endings. Exceptions: A fic with multiple endings, I'm ok with writing a bad ending version.

Descriptive Knee/Eye trauma: I don't think I need to explain this one 😅.

Pregnancy: This is a tough subject for me - I'm not completely adverse to writing about pregnancy, but I prefer not to. Mentioning it in the past is alright, but I don't like description.

Terminal Illness, Fecal Matter or gross hygeine (Everyone's getting in the tub dammit), Pet play, teacher/student, or Age play stuff: Just stuff that makes me very uncomfortable or sad.

Real life Prison Aus: Modern and historical prison aus, I can't handle the pain/history of abuse in those places and the mistreatment of human beings at the hands of cops and corrections officers.

Additional things that aren't super important but I'll add anyway.

Shows/Series I'm unfamiliar with or know nothing about because I don't want to get it too wrong.

Mental Disorders that I'm unfamiliar with. I have a few of my own so I feel comfortable writing those, but not ones in which I'd have to make possible assumptions.

I talk too much, but may I ask if you can give a description of Brian's helmet, uniform, more about his scar, and his troops' uniforms?? From Ghost of Keep! I'd love to know! Bc I'm gonna be doodling this Story a lot 😶‍🌫️

Ok , so Brian's Armor I imagine as a cross of these two things

That same yellow color for his chest plate and helmet, but a shorter, more Mobile skirt with room for a sword.

For his face, helmet on, he looks somewhat like this - I couldn't find a good picture so here is my edited version

Without a helmet, I imagine he wears a beaded black face drape on the one half of his face with a little headband to keep it on, kinda like this but just on the one half, and a bit less see through.

For the scar, I'm not going to give pictures obviously because it's a traumatic injury , but basically, here's the skull

The wide of Brian's orbital bone and some parts of the zygomatic bone is gone on the right side. This outlines the whole area of the skull.

Because that bone is gone, the skin there is flat and caved in where it was stitched, and his eye is absent. There is only an "arch" left from the top of his orbital bone, as Jay describes. The scar jagged along his mouth line and pulls a bit at the skin of his lip, giving him a slight crooked smile on that side of his face. He keeps it's covered for the shock factor when it's revealed to his enemies (and because he's self conscious.)

And like with any deep scar or injury like that, it hurts, even years after the fact, and can throb on the occasion. (Until he drank the well water *wink wink*)

Brian's troops have similiar style armor, but less fancy and more basic.

A mermaid Jam and Brilex fic (With a bit of Jessica/Taylor)

Tim, a young heir to the throne, faces his misconceptions when he meets a siren on the shoreline. As king, he sets out to right the wrongs of mankind. Years later, things are doing better than ever before, until reports of ships mysteriously sinking start to come in. He learns there are far more fearsome creatures in the sea than sirens.

One of my favorites! Lots of word building in this fic as I wanted to illustrate the cultural differences and relations of sirens and humans, and have that be a strong factor in both relationships. Some people are accepting it sirens/human - many are not, and Tim is trying to ratify that as king. Jay has a giant, hilariously annoying siren family and is cousins with Alex.

To Kill a Bluejay

Alex Kralie is a college freshman who is often stuck chaperoning his younger brother, Seth, and his friend group, self-dubbed "The Hornet's Nest". In their quaint little neighborhood sits a creepy, dark, boarded up house on the corner, where lives a "grumpy old man" who "eats children for breakfast".

Halloween night, however, reveals their are more concerning things lurking in the dark than a hermited neighbor.

A mixture of a monster hunter au and an old grumpy gay dad au! I absolutely love this story and it might just be my favorite - but I really shouldn't choose favorites. Takes place in the 2010's with flashbacks to the 1980's, witnessing Jay and Tim's relationship evolve over time - before they lose one another, seemingly forever - but happy reunions of course! Alex and Brian are college age while the rest of the gang is middle school/elementary age.

This is SFW fanfic, and there will be only one chapter of smut which is skippable and not plot necessary, so if smuts not your thing, this may be for you.

Bonus: Please, someone save Tim from these children, he's not ready to be a father

"Jay, just Jay" has lived a thousand years - he thinks - and has seen more battles and death than anyone else alive. And it. is. boring. Siding with the only person to see him as human - not just a weapon - Jay seeks the one who can finally strike him down.

Except, he gets much, much more than he gambled for.
