Britt! I’m so jealous, I literally stared daggers at my employer’s liquor collection this morning while putting their kid down for a nap. How is the mountain??

i was gonna say i don’t know how i missed this yesterday but... i do know how. i was drunk. d’oh. sorry! the mountains were so beautiful tho!!

braver souls than me could take a 30 minute cable car ride up to the peak of the mountain (which sits about 10,500 ft in the air... haha no thank you)

so instead! i took a bus ride up the mountain and wound up at Shymbulak, the largest ski resort in central asia. they had it allllll. including a lot of very cheap alcohol

and also the only restaurant in the world worthy of housing hozier and his hordes of lesbians. i wanted to live there forever.

My favorite thing about Louis, at least today, I think, is the way that he writes songs that *feel* upbeat and dance-y, even while being about serious and even devastating topics. He likes to celebrate, and enjoy and make people happy, and I love to watch for that theme to come though in the choices he makes.
