With gentle hands they guide a blind child over the raised bumps, teaching them the meaning of the code. When they walk into the courtroom there's a piece of red somewhere on them; a garnet ring, a red tie, red sunglasses. They can be found buried in the library under stacks of old law books, learning the obscure words from centuries past. In their free time a few like to go tightrope walking; over rivers, trees, cliffs. There's always an underlying fury in their eyes, the way their teeth clench when they smile; a criminal or abuser getting away with their crime stirs a rage that knows no bounds. Running down the streets and tackling a gang banger with red and blue lights illuminating their police uniform and shining handcuffs.
Justice may be blind but they see a lot better then most, especially the color red.
