Things That Are Not Rascist: A List of Things I heard

Black Coffee. It is coffee that has little to no creamer in it and is such a dark brown that it looks black ie Black Coffee.

(Background: Yes. Someone legit told a McDonald's employee to not say Black Coffee as it was racist....despite the customer ordering a coffee that was a black coffee ie 0 creams, 0 sugars)

The Color Black or term Dark used in any setting like A Black Crayon, A Black Sock, It's Dark Outside, etc, etc.

(Background: It's a stupid, overused fucking joke and some people actually take it seriously and legit think saying anything black is racist)

The Masculine Spanish Word for Black ie Negro

Things that ARE Rascist

Calling black people Monkeys or Apes

Saying that any killed UNARMED black person must've threatened the cops or that the killing was justified because "the cop feared for their life"

Saying all immigrants of colors are here illegally and deserve how they are treated

like, setting aside the fact that they have her mailing address, not her physical address (do they not get the difference????) -- the lack of self-awareness here is ASTOUNDING. larries argued in comments on the dunkirk thing about who tops and who bottoms! THAT’S creepy and inappropriate!!!

when a local major league ballplayer’s wife had their first child, my friend, who has college-aged children of her own, is not creepy, is not weird, and understands boundaries, bought a little baseball outfit for the baby, wrapped it, and gave it to him personally before a game. he was touched, said thank you, and gave her a hug. at no point did anyone we ran into on the way to do it say “uhhhhh that’s creepy.” no! 

i’ve also been to many a convention in my time, and it would certainly not be weird for a fan to give a gift to a celeb who had a child. they get all kinds of gifts. my first convention i was like, “why does everyone have a present for these people??” but by the third one i had some quotes and things i thought the celeb i was going to see would enjoy. he was appreciative of the quotes and we discussed them at the autograph table. and if someone has a kid, why is it weird to send stuff to the parent to give to the kid? she could donate it to charity if it’s stuff she doesn’t want around the house.

it’s whatever that a grown-ass woman has this warped view of appropriate behavior, but i do worry about the impressionable little larries who’re finding their way in the world getting their heads filled up with all this faux moral outrage. :(

To those who say, “She paid everyone off,” I would ask how many people would have to have been paid off and how much that would have cost. Would anyone care to do an actual count?
