UWAAAAA @nothlits i love you and it makes me so happy to see you still around ;A; i never know what to say but I always think of you fondly we are in orbit on discord like binary stars (the paralysis of figuring out how to address friends i miss)
and AAAAH @falselyprofound THANK YOU HAHA i've been intending to seek for over 10 years i'm relieved to finally be doing it like 'oh wait... this isn't nearly as bad as i thought it would be. in fact it's wonderful for angst potential' i will post more about my sad sad matron for you >:)
i cannot express enough how much of a beloved part of my morning routine it’s become to check tumblr to find out what hijinks we and Hat will be (subjecting the narrator to) getting up to today.

They didn’t know why they were here. Nine kids of different ages, with virtually nothing in common, trapped on a ship that someone had decided to sink as part of some weird game. No explanation, no-one around to help. Just flooding hallways and creaking metal. Rokuro had been the first to pose a theory. He’d thought it was punishment. That this is what the government did to kids who broke the law. Apparently he’d stolen his dad’s credit card the night before and used it to buy games on the internet or something, and the man in the mask had shown up straight after to take him away. That was pretty quickly shot down by eight other kids with extremely loud voices and clean consciences. They were just kids. Scared kids. Kids who didn’t know a single thing about algebra, or science, or escaping locked rooms. But they understood they were all here together. Light had only needed to give them a push in the right direction first.
Happy holidays, @bookworm-2692! Your entire prompt list was fantastic, but I have such a weak spot for the first Nonary Game. Worried siblings… kids lookin’ out for each other… characterization free real estate with the unnamed receivers…
Was hoping to do a third piece showing off the last three kids, but I ran out of time. For now, you can check out the full resolution images here!
:D Thank you!
Thank you very much to the wonderful @falselyprofound for drawing me these dragons! They are excellent.
You too can get Free Art by donating to bushfire relief, details here.
falselyprofound replied to your post: i think a lot about online pseudonyms and urls wrt...
god i love it when my irl buddies call me “Falsely” online. I always introduce myself as CJ, but sooner or later everyone starts using Falsely like it’s a “doctor” or “captain”-type job title and it cracks me right up
clearly its a surname. cj falselyprofound lmao that’ wild tho, but it makes sense i guess??? maybe it has something to do with familiarity vs contexts of being introduced? like that someone wouldnt immediately connect name to url, but url or pseud is easier???? regardless its funny as hell.Â
