It’s been a few days.
A few days since that emotional outburst, right in front of his own grandson who was going through similar but yet quite different struggles as him.
In this very garage, the one that he’s standing in right now, only mere steps away from the shelf that held the box which contained the engagement ring itself inside.
Aku always come back and he always will ‘cause he loves you! He might be tied up in some.. demon king.. stuff that takes a long time. I wouldn’t give up hope just yet, Rick– he’s gonna poof back in when you’re least expecting it. I’m one hundred percent certain.
The seventy year old finds himself grasping the edge of the box, tilting it towards him as it sits on the shelf, just so that he can get a peek inside of the cardboard container.

You and Aku have one of the greatest relationships I’ve ever seen, Rick– sure there might be some arguments but that happens in every relationship. People disagree on stuff and get angry and don’t wanna talk for awhile but if you come back after that you know it’s the real deal, and the two of you do… every time.
A heavy sigh, following the sounds of items being moved around in the box as he reaches in and feels for the ring or chain--whichever comes first. It’s the ring which he recognizes. Pulling out the engagement ring, he squints at the engraved Kanji on it.

Whatever the fuck that means, he rolls his eyes to no one but himself as he slips the thin gold chain around his neck and tucks it along with the ring back inside his shirt. The chain is long enough to where it drops right down to his chest. Right where his heart is.
He’d have to get the chain adjusted later to fit him better.

Do I Follow Them?:
I do, but it’s moreso because they’ve helped me tremendously and I’ve no idea what Samurai Jack is. I do this weird thing where if I know the fandom where your muse is from, I tend to look your blog over to see if I like your portrayal or not. If I don’t, I don’t follow. But, if I don’t know the fandom, I follow regardless. And it’s usually if someone else follows me first.
And though I don’t regularly stop and glance at their posts, I can tell they put a lot of thought and hard work into their muse. They write a bunch, and the more experience people have with role playing and interpreting characters, the more monologue and quirks they’ll give them. And writing a lot shows that. Plus, they’ve come to me with worries about losing muse. And I know how that feels, from being passionate about Facilier myself
Why Did I Follow Them?:
Again, it’s because I had no idea what the fuck Samurai Jack was. That, and they’ve helped me with my theme, get through hard times, and give me constant reassurance.

I kinda do? Only because I wanna see their passion up close. I wanna know Aku more through them. Plus, though I don’t know Aku that well, it would interest me if Facilier would be scared of him or be in cahoots with him.

What I Think About The Mun:
The mun and I don’t talk much. And if I’m honest? It’s because I typically do other things before I think about responding to them. Either that or I just don’t think of a response and just leave them alone. I just can’t think of anything to say back.
But, from the times we do have conversations, it’s nice. They talk a lot, and they give me things to at least think about if I actually focus on our chats for once.
Overall Opinion:
They’re really nice and helpful from when we’ve talked, and I can see that they put tremendous amounts of passion into their muse.

He giggled, tipping his drink back once more for another quick sip. “But that was hardly what I expected from you,” he growled, stepping forth into his space and hooking an arm around his waist, pulling him in close– almost flush to his chest– none too gently.
“No. You will have to do better than that to appease me.”
Jack tried to lean away, until Aku’s arm went around his waist and he knew it was too late to make an escape. Dammit. Aku was much easier to deal with when they were fighting to the death. Now Jack just felt awkward and he wasn’t sure how to react.
“I- You are drunk, Aku. You do not really want me to kiss you.” Somehow he doubted that would get him out of this mess, but he supposed it was worth a shot. If it didn’t work he would have to give in and give the demon a proper kiss and...hope Aku would never bring it up again.
Hriob Facts - Oni-Breaker Mead
Despite the hellstorm of turbulent events in Hriob’s recent life, he still manages to keep track of his various business assets in his alchemic craft-brewing business.
His main product is simply mead designed to be as chemically - and spiritually - pure as possible, to enhance the taste and the impact as much as possible without being dangerous to drink.
...his most famous, or rather infamous product, however, takes that to rather unsafe extremes, at least by human standards. Oni-Breaker Mead is a concoction of mead, spiced just enough to go down warm and flavorful, sweetened with the purest and richest honey he can find, brewed to perfection with the right blend of hops... and then subjected to alchemical processes that concentrate the initially somewhat thin, refined beverage into a near-syrupy, decadently rich and flavorful brew that can kill a man of alcohol poisoning with one drop.
Given that he’s effectively immune to alcohol due to his powers for no lack of his trying in the past he tends to sell this only to supernatural creatures that have a hard time enjoying human liquor if its ‘not strong enough’.
If nothing else, it delivers what it was meant to deliver: great taste and impossible alcohol content. Even evil demonic overlords have been stunned by its delicious, terrifying strength of flavor and potency.
The only current issue he has is recreating most of his pieces of brewing and alchemical apparatus. He had kept a LOT in his home before it blew up on him, and they were no exception.
... But what if he never did come back?
Somethin’ tells me that the Aku discourse will go down in history.
Aku gets in an argument with Aku, and gets called out for it by Aku.
This is golden.
