– Well, hearing that from Kokichi was a fairly nice surprise on its own, and it did sound a bit genuine. Just a bit. Well, he honestly couldn’t really tell, but he felt as if Kokichi’s tone of voice was a bit different compared to how it was usually. It could just be him. Truthfully, he wasn’t sure what might have motivated him to say that. Was he just trying to be nice? Who knows. 

 Still, it wasn’t every day where someone would say that to him, it’s probably the first time someone has ever said that about his smile, actually. He couldn’t help but smile lightly from the compliment, and he didn’t even notice that he was a bit flustered again.

To look at the situation in all fairness, she would have been surprised no matter the outcome. It was in the nurse’s nature to be hyper-aware of her surroundings, after all, so the slightest movements wouldn’t go unnoticed on her part.

This could not be filed under the ’slightest movements’ category.

Mikan flinched, of course, as she was bound to – could one blame her? (She briefly panicked, because yes, someone could, the boy laying on her shoulder could easily blame her and become angry because he wasn’t comfortable enough;) Her eyes darting around, her cheeks began to heat, out of discomfort more than anything. It wasn’t the first time her personal space had been invaded, it wouldn’t be the last … but she still was clueless on how to deal with it.

   “U-Um …” Any words died in her throat (like she expected them to) and she promptly resigned herself to this fate.

EASILY APPROACHING  two in the morning , the anthropologist was only now evacuating his lab.    &&    while it certainly wasn’t the first time he’s encountered that rat of a boy    inconveniently ,    he was quite surprised to see him this late ; almost as if he’d been waiting for him. kokichi has truly been nothing more than a    pinched nerve    to deal with ---------- one of the few people that could push someone as patient as korekiyo. making no eye contact , he presses on to walk past him , merely stopping when they stood parallel. an    eerie    pause ,    &&    the taller male would grip the other’s shoulder with a less-than-gentle force ; mask moved long enough to allow their lips to barely touch.

mask still in place , he captures the other’s lips , only sheer    millimeters    separating them.    &&    that position is held , long enough until one of them would be    forced    to withdraw for air.    &&    as if nothing had even happened , korekiyo releases him , attention returning to the book in his hands.

though he’s quite    shocked    by the other’s initiative ; he lacks really any form of a reaction ———- but also doesn’t pull away. if anything, he’s more    impressed    by kokichi than anything else,    golden eyes    left open to observe any or all reactions he’d present, like an    experiment    on a lab table. eventually, a hand would reach up to take hold of the other’s chin, pressing him away just    mere    inches.
