On a look for the foretold Volamulier, scientists set off to look for the supposedly aggressive "flying woman lizard." They had nothing but a backpack of notebooks and guards.

Excursion 1 | Group Beta
The travelled further out into the wilderness, a bit off the beaten path from the Camp Omega to Center Beta trade road. There twisting bone-like red blood-colored trees supposedly reached further than the Redwoods back on earth. The clean ground unknown to most and unpredicted by the scientists. The guards kept their weapons held close incase they encounter Vola-1 (name for the only known Volamulier).
Eventually the Beta team stumbled upon a clearing that held nothing but a large tree. Within the large tree looked what seemed to be a Volamulier. Immediately the lead scientist, Dr. S. Harrison, turned on an audio recording device. What is left of the file is transcripted here.

[Footsteps]
HARRISON: It seems we have encountered a Volamulier, I'm labelling it Vola-2.
UNKNOWN SCIENTIST: Are you sure? It has talons.
HARRISON: Doesn't matter! This is big!
[Wings flapping]
HARRISON: It's repositioning. What...it does have talons. New creature found it seems like.
DR. SCOTSMAN: A false-vola huh! [Laughs]
HARRISON: What is that look...? Wait-
[Large creature swooping down]
GUARD: Run! Everyone run!
[Bullets firing]

The group was later found mangled. Only one survivor was there with 2 broken legs and a smashed ribcage. Internal bleeding would overcome him as being a cause of death. Though information on the creature's looks was gathered through this survivor and a crude illustration was made with such. It was given the name "Falsvoltomo" and the creature was given the identification, Falomo-1.
