LOVE LETTERS TO LINDY HOP

If you haven’t seen this video before, please just go ahead and get over how blurry it is and get ready to experience some magic. 

I first took classes from Casey and Falty in 2009 and they have remained at the top of my list of favorite instructors ever since. I still find myself going back to things that I learned from them in those first couple of years of classes. They really are just excellent teachers. 

Also, I don’t know ANYONE who doesn’t enjoy watching the two of them dance. Seriously. 

Anyway, back to the video. I think this video, unlike the one of Peter and Mia, is better after you have taken classes from Falty. Either way, I REALLY enjoy it and I have dreams of him recreating it in higher quality. I’m pretty sure I have even brought it up a few times. I think I almost had an organizer convinced once to ask him to do it at their event, but then I wound up not being able to attend so I stopped pushing. 

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I do. It’s another from the list of “never fails to entertain me.”

My absolute favorite moment of 505 Stomp was completely fucking up every move while dancing with Mike Faltesek (Falty) and him still giving me the biggest smile like he was dancing with the most amazing dancer in the world.

That is the heart of lindy hop right there.
