Okay, I’m gonna come in real from left field with this one, haha--

But... Disney is NOT all that. I work as a party princess as a side gig, so naturally all of my coworkers - who I love to death btw - are... disney obsessed. Most of them freaked out in theater when we all got together to see Frozen 2 as a company. And I’m just... not easily impressed with them anymore. Frozen by itself was just... mediocre, and yet it blew up into this huge ass thing like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. To elaborate though, I do enjoy Frozen here and there. It’s not a bad movie-- just an over-hype one. And let’s be real: if another studio did Frozen that wasn’t Disney, do you guys think it would of gotten SO big??

I think a part of me that’s disenchanted is just the bias I have towards ROTG for one; since I was a little disheartened and bitter that Frozen, which came out a year after ROTG overshadowed it so completely, and how I have to squint at Frozen 2 because it takes a LOT of elements from Jack’s character and applies them to Elsa ( would Disney copy another thing to add it to their things?.... I don’t know. The whole Kimba the white lion and Lion King thing makes me squint, and they’re not the most honest company. )

But even with just their live actions-- they seem so hollow. Maleficent and Cinderella were my favorites, but after they feel really life-less... like JUST for the money, and people go because ‘nostalgia’. I don’t know... maybe I’m just growing into a bitter old lady, haha.

     Eyes wander with voices heard, distractions heavy at this time of day. The seats were filling up, songs fluttering from those intoxicated too far to care how awful they sound. Often the Underground opted for live music, but twice a month they instilled this event to encourage more patrons. Such a waste. Though, newcomers still needed a place to be. Oysters seemed confused more often than not.  “ If you want a table seat, find an empty station. Otherwise the bar’s still mostly free. “

“Wait--! You’re…. You are…!”

Ochako’s eyes widened comically, a high pitched squeal seeming to slip passed barely contained lips as she waved her hands in her overabundance of excitement. Given her reaction one would of thought she had come face to face with a Pro-Hero while on a jog, but her giddiness was aim towards a boy that was only about her own age.

Well, it wasn’t like he was just some random guy.

“I thought that I heard that you were coming to Japan, but I never thought…!” Her cheeks were almost aching because of her smile, and she has to force herself to calm down; least she get too caught up in herself and begin to float or something of the sort.

“I watch your show all the time! There’s this site that does some good translations, so I mostly go on there, but recently they’re starting to show them on tv too! They’re technically reruns right now, but I still watch them mostly just for the principle—”

She was beginning to ramble, and Uraraka swallows a deep breath to calm herself before offering him a more settled smile, jutting out her hand. “—Uraraka Ochako. It’s so amazing to meet you.”
