reward: 5 tracker points or 10 additional ecp (please designate on task completion post which is being collected)
deadline: september 22, 2021 at 11:59pm edt
the following prompts should be completed with an answer of at least 250 words each. this can be completed only on muses being kept in the restructuring of famed, not new muses. you may begin to write and post these as soon as your application is marked as approved on the app count, even before acceptances if you’d like.
please tag completions of this task with #famedrstask1.
assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different? these can be as small as an opinion on a song they hadn’t released previously or as big as a major change in their background.
what does your muse think of their company and their group?
is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract?
what are your muse’s goals and motivations?
what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future?
if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why.
an additional note on the restructuring tasks: normally, additional established career points will not be something that’s earned past the base on the application. because of the restructuring, though, i wanted to give a small potential gift to thank those who have chosen to stay or are showing new interest in the roleplay!
if you choose to collect tracker points, you may add them to your tracker as soon as they’ve been liked by the main.
if you choose to collect additional established career points, you may contact the main via message about what you’d like to add to your application once the posts have been liked by the main. i will not be contacting people first, so it’s your responsibility to redeem the additional established career points with me if you choose that option.
you’re also allowed to opt for tracker points for some tasks and established career points for others.
1. assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different? these can be as small as an opinion on a song they hadn’t released previously or as big as a major change in their background. / wc : 321
suwei in essence hasn’t really changed. her biography up until her high school graduation is untouched. she still struggles with asthma and gad and she still trained in china. all her major changes involve her training and career.
instead of debuting after only a couple of months of training in a group with a solidified lineup she now debuted in the original lineup after a year of training. she obviously feels more prepared. she loves being an idol but that doesn’t mean she knows what she’s doing all the time. a year still isn’t ideal but it is better. and this time around she does feel closer to her members and now feels less like an outsider.
along with her training her group’s debut was also pushed back by a year. so instead of being in the industry for three years she’s only been in the industry for two. which means that her solo career is starting relatively early despite the small number of active years.
she is no longer the maknae, which has resulted in her becoming a fake maknae. before being maknae really played into her image. with the title of maknae no longer hers she now has to rely solely on her personality and talent. her personality isn’t a problem. and while yes she’s talented she knows she isn’t the best. she can still be seen as childish. the maknae is in a way expected to be childish and mischievous. she’s childish and naive in a lot of ways and can’t use the excuse of being the youngest.
she is now a main vocalist instead of a vocalist which means that she gets more lines. she isn’t necessarily happy with this fact. in version 2.0 suwei was happy with being just a vocalist and allowing her members to shine. now she has more importance and she can’t help but feel pressured. feelings of doubt are also prevalent.
2. what does your muse think of their company and their group? / wc : 257
suwei thinks highly of her company. really any company that debuted her would have made a good impression. after the failed attempt at her former company she auditioned with low expectations. she didn’t want to get her hopes up. but she was also being hopeful. it was a chance she had to take. and to her surprise she made it in.
she respects choi yeongjin for who he is. he's her boss and she was raised to treat those in power with respect. she doesn’t really know him so she can’t really tell you how she feels for him in a personal manner. she gets along with staff members. and again she has respect for them. She listens to what they say and follows their directions when she needs to. She is probably closest with the makeup artists.she agrees with most of dimensions actions.
andromeda made their debut almost a decade after calypso debuted. the only other girl group under dimensions. andromeda isn’t the group that she’d pick for herself. the concept just isn’t something she personally gravitated toward. but so far she’s liked all their title tracks. she’s glad to be given the opportunity. and is happy to have he main vocal position. although she doesn’t feel like she’s the best option. despite not being in love with the concept she actually really enjoys the music they’ve released so far. she doesn’t hate any title tracks, but some b-sides she’s not a huge fan off. but overall she’s okay with the direction andromeda is taking.
3. is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract? / wc : 317
andromeda is currently on their first contract. and it will be up for renewal in 2026. she has five years until she has to resign. and for her things are looking positive.
andromeda debuted a little over two years ago. she feels that isn’t a whole lot of time to base the next five years off of. andromeda since debut has released 8 singles and 7 mini albums.
two mini albums in 2019. thee mini albums and a repackaged album in 2020. and only two mini albums in 2021. each year varies so differently. there’s really no saying what’s to happen over the next five years. and all of its dependent on outside forces.
she’s still very much hopeful for the rest of the first contact. this year has offered the girls a break. and she’s hoping that means dimensions has some plans for next year. but next year may be just as busy as the year after their debut or continue to be slow.
despite how slow 2021 had been for andromeda she’s hopeful for the future. there is still plenty of time to gain the popularity they need to stay afloat. she wants to see the next contract, and will want to re-sign if given the chance. when she debuted with andromeda she made a promise to herself. to see this to the end. she’s been given this second opportunity to debut and she won’t waste it.
since it’s so far away she hasn’t put much thought into the possibility of not renewing the contact or disbanding before then. it’s a possibility she’d rather not think of. nor had she put in any thought into the possibility of her members not resigning.
she believes dimensions will do everything in their power to make that happen. and she hopes that dimensions continues this storytelling something they are known for. it’s unique and different. and that sells.
4. what are your muse’s goals and motivations? / wc : 297
suwei ultimately wants to live life to her standards. to make the most out of her situation. she just wants to be happy no matter what that entails. and she knows that it may change and she wants to be able to change with it.
she also wants to make others people happy. she can’t please everyone but she can try. and she’s learned to accept that’s all she can do. all she can do is try.
suwei in the end is in the business to make music. not necessarily to procure but to record. it’s to ultimately make a connection with fans. she loves putting fans first. she loves interacting with them anyway she can.
she eventually wants to make a solo career. she wants to release a single. maybe a mini album. if she’s lucky a full album. in the end she want to make her fans happy. she wants these to make an impact and spread a little joy. of she can make a difference in one persons life she’ll be happy. she’s hopeful but not set on it.
she wants to eventually write her own songs. she’s willing to progress slowly and learn first. she isn’t afraid to ask for her and she has a mentor that gives her the time and patience. one day she may write a song she gets to perform solo. to get dimensions to use her song as a title track for andromeda or really any group would make her feel proud.
she also wants to do more variety. it’s something she enjoys. she loves interacting and she gets to make other people happy. more guest appearances. to be able to have an extended guest appearance ideal. and again if she’s lucky she’ll get the opportunity to host.
5. what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future? / wc : 340
as of right now suwei is still her in her honeymoon phase with being an idol. she has her rose colored glasses on and she doesn’t plan on taking them off anytime soon. but in the future her thoughts and opinion on being an idol will change. she is still very naive and sees the good in people. this may or may not change. but what will definitely change is her opinions on the company and the harsh realities of being an idol. eventually she will have eternal conflict. but first she must external conflict. conflict with other idols that don’t see eye to eye with her. seniors who simply feel she’s naive, or to innocents to be an idol. whether they mean to protect her or simply want to hurt her. and eventually conflict with the company. she’s going to agree less and less with their decisions. she’s going to question their ideas more. some events will occur that will simply change the way she sees the company and staff.
depending on andromeda’s career this may happen earlier. and eventually she’ll see their true nature. whether that’s through her own experience or the experience of one of her member or label mate. eventually this will lead to her questioning if being an idol if it’s as great as she made it out to be. and if the company deserves the respect she’s given them. currently the company hasn’t given her any reason to distrust them, but that will definitely change. they cosmonauts will given her a reason to distrust them and she’s going to struggle with this. she’s going to question everything she’s known.
and something that she’s currently struggling with is her sexuality. and while no she isn’t ashamed of it, she’s never had to question it before. but she can’t deny her feelings and she knows that she’s attracted to female as much as she is to males. and it’s taking her some time to realize this is okay despite what society has to say about it.
6. if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why. / wc : 287
suwei made her first public appearance in quantum’s eternity music video as the female lead. at the time she was a trainee. and fans knew her face before they knew her name. she was thankful for the opportunity especially considering she’s never considered herself an actress. it was a very minor role and will be her only acting role. she wouldn’t be opposed to starting in another groups music video especially one outside of the company.
she made her first variety show appearance in 2020 on battle trip. it’s solidified a career for her in variety. it was well perceived. fans and non fans alike adored her. her personality shines through. she was simply made for variety.
in 2021 she collaborated with candy’s alice. they release a cover single of mi amor on may 13. it was her first time releasing music without andromeda. and she was glad to have alice with her. and a month later she released a duo cover for ceci korea with alice.
throughout the same few months she was also working on the colla3orate project. in june the single seoul was released.
she is grateful for every solo opportunity she’s had up to this point. she is proud of her accomplishments. a few years ago if you asked her if she’d ever debut she wouldn’t of been able to answer you. she really wasn’t sure with her failed attempt a couple of years ago.
she’d also feel grateful for any future solo activities she’s given. that could be a solo single or an ost. she’d be happy to get any variety show roles. it’s a big dream to host or co-host a show. to mv would also be something she’d like doing.
assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different?
well... her faceclaim has changed, which i feel actually represents most of the character changes she’s had pretty well, but that is almost certainly something that only makes sense to me and is not surface-level obvious to an outsider. mirae has changed a lot less than ash has, but she’s got a little more background and journey now within her past in the industry.
firstly, i gave her dad back his hobby of singing in his little hobby indie rock band. wish mirae had that, but i removed it for silhouette mirae when she became dance focused over vocal focused. i’ve given it back to her now because i feel like it works well with who selene mirae is, which is very well-known for her stage presence and performance. her dad would drag her up on stage sometimes to his little free shows with an audience of like fifteen people, and that sparked her love of the stage. he’s still an author as how he makes money (when he makes money... his books aren’t bestsellers and mirae does support him quite a bit financially now that she has a steady cashflow and he divorced her mom).
there’s more focus on her having made the choice to keep mostly to selene without venturing too much into solo activities despite being presented several chances that she pretty much threw away over the years now (her viral fancam in 2013, parasite’s success). a lot of her changes are reflected in her established career claims, so i’ll more in depth about that in that section.
since this is the section for it, though, abracadabra soty. she wasn’t so sure about the whole era at the time because the sound was very different from what selene had been doing and was twenty and her role in the mv was quite sexual, far beyond the bounds of what she’d acted at that time. in retrospect, she really loves the era, though, because it marked the beginning of selene stepping outside of the typical idol box and the choreography is fun to perform despite its simplicity. petition for mirae to get felt up by female dancers in more of their choreographies.
version two of mirae was very ambitious and version three still is, but it’s more explicit in her background that she’s often suppressed her individual ambitions in favor of the group.
what does your muse think of their company and their group?
mirae loves selene. she very aware of the gift being able to debut within selene is. she’d been let go from her old company and dropped out of school by the time she became a gold star trainee and her family had nowhere near the money or network to secure a future for her. she had to secure it herself and she’d given everything to secure that as an idol, only for it to be ripped away. joining gold star and being put in selene was a saving grace. she would love the group to some extent even if she’d been put into a group she didn’t like, but selene’s concepts have fit her like a glove over the years. it could be argued their debut song was too sexualized, but, at the time, mirae loved it and felt it showed the best sides of her.
idol girl groups aren’t always given the chance to mature at the same pace as their members, but mirae is grateful that eleven years after debut, selene is still releasing music that doesn’t feel out of place for women in their late twenties and early thirties. she’s never grown tired of standing on stage as a member of selene and has no desire to see them disband in their lifetimes. she doesn’t know how the others feel, but she’d love to release an album when they’re in their sixties or seventies to prove they’ve still got it.
gold star is the entity that allowed selene to exist, so she’s grateful toward the company. she doesn’t have any particular negative feelings toward the company, but she’s also aware companies are companies and it doesn’t make sense to ever glorify one entirely. she has no plans to leave gold star at this time.
is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract?
mirae renewed her contract with gold star in 2017. she never seriously considered leaving the company, but she did take renewals seriously. it was around that time she realized she’d had her career for seven years and although selene had tons to show for it, mirae as an individual hadn’t shaped much of a name for herself. she’d acted in a well-received film in 2013 and gone viral for her stage presence, so her name had some weight behind it, but she’d seen others who debuted around the same time rise to cf queens or solo artists, meanwhile mirae was best known for being in selene to most.
it’s not that she didn’t want to be known for being in selene, but she’d been taking acting lessons the past four years even though she wasn’t acting and that seemed like a waste when it was something she had a passion for. when it came time for meetings about contract renewals, mirae expressed that she wanted to be able to pursue acting more consistently that she had been. it was an early step into allowing herself to have ambitions beyond selene, but a crucial one that it may have taken her longer to make had contract renewals not come into the equation.
she worried that their second contract would mean waning activities for selene as a group, which happened a little bit, but not as much as mirae had feared beforehand. right now, she’s happy with where her second contract has landed her and wouldn’t be opposed at all to signing on for a third in a few years time.
what are your muse’s goals and motivations?
when she first became an idol, her main goal was to make a living. she’d never really known financial security growing up and she was lucky to have what she did have. this, at times, conflicted with her own personal determination to do what made her happy. the topic had been a source of contention between her mom and dad for a long time, with her dad not contributing much financially to the household but being much happier with his job than his mom, who was the main source of income for the family. mirae was much closer to her dad and favored his approach to life, so whenever she thought too much about her own deep need for financial security, she doubted if she was pursuing idoldom with the right intentions, but she usually worked out eventually that if she really wanted money, becoming an idol under a fairly small company (as the one she first trained under was) was far from the most reliable way to go about that.
now, at twenty-seven, mirae is mostly driven by a desire to grow and challenge herself. she’s found financial security and it doesn’t look to be going away any time soon, so she wants to become someone who is very fulfilled personally instead. it’s a luxury she can worry about such a thing and, because of her history, she knows that. with the foundation of money solidly built, she’s turned her focus to building the foundation of a legacy she’ll have when the day comes she can’t act or sing or dance or model with the same energy and health she has now.
what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future?
i’ve touched on this multiple times already, but mirae struggles with the idea that striking out too much on her own might somehow hurt selene. she’s not sure where the idea came from and if she sits down and thinks about it logically, it doesn’t make much sense, but it might come from a place of fear more than anything else. she’s dealt with hate comments for speaking her mind and being unapologetically herself for years now and she has pretty thick skin, so it’s not that, but dedicating herself to individual activities risks loneliness or not living up to the expectations set for her by all the praise she’s earned as a selene member. whenever she finds herself on the verge of a potential breakthrough as an individual, like with her acting debut or her viral fancam or parasite’s global success, she’s balked at it a little. she wants to stop doing that and embrace it if she gets another chance like that. she's trying to do that right now with her viral dance performance video from her youtube channel.
another conflict she’s dealing with is her relationship with her family, specifically her mom. mirae and her mom have never gotten along very well, and her mom never supported her in being an idol. even now that mirae’s successful, her mom doesn’t seem to approve and mirae can’t tell if it’s pride or genuine disapproval that causes that. she tries her hardest to be a good daughter to her mother like she is to her dad, but it comes much less easily to her because she’s never really gotten any kind of obvious approval from her.
if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why.
mirae’s main area of established career claims is in acting. she made her acting debut in the film miracle in cell no. 7, which was a big success. after that, she didn’t take an acting role again for almost five years when she took on a supporting role in the film heart blackened. acting became more consistent after that with a role in parasite in 2019 and her first lead role in space sweepers in 2021. she’s only acted in films so far, although this year, she starred as the female lead in platinum’s “remember that” music video.
in 2013, a fancam of her performing selene’s song “up & down” went viral for her charisma and stage presence. for a brief moment, she had a surge in popularity as attention turned to her skills as a performer and her visuals, but she turned down the offers that came her way for individual activities and the effect of that faded with time.
mirae’s long held an interest in fashion, so when her newfound global popularity following parasite got her an offer to attend paris fashion week in spring 2020, she took it. it confirmed for her that she wants to do more in the areas of fashion and modeling, whether through the gateway of her acclaim as an idol or actress or on her own merits as a model or style icon.
mirae’s solo activities have been spread out across her eleven year career and she hasn’t fully utilized them to the potential they had to propel her forward as hwang mirae and not only selene’s mirae, but she is proud of them and the work she’s been able to accomplish.
assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different? these can be as small as an opinion on a song they hadn’t released previously or as big as a major change in their background.
jaeyeol changed the most out of all my muses admitted. there’s been a couple major switches with them. the biggest one is the change of pronouns that yeol is using (which are they/them/he/him) in addition to the bit of a gender crisis they’re having at the moment. they view of gender was always a bit skewed because of their parents, mostly their dad and all the rather conservative and religious beliefs he has. it took jaeyeol years to accept that they were queer and interesting men/male-presenting people, and still they struggle to admit that out loud even in spaces where they know no one will judge them. honestly i don’t think jaeyeol though much about gender and how they perceived their own gender, and honestly neither did i. it kinda hit me out of nowhere too, so that’s the story that jaeyeol is also getting. for now, they’re still very confused and have no idea what’s going on and the story here is that jaeyeol is testing out new pronouns to get a full idea of how not being perceived as only male makes them feel within space they’re comfortable in and giving everything a good, long Think.
other changes include yeol being a year younger now, it never felt right to have them as a 97 liner tbh so i bumped it down a year and moved the date a couple days back as well. and of course jaeyeol got a faceclaim change. lastly, they are no longer a main vocal, they are now a dance and rap legend ft occasional vocals and honestly i love it for them.
what does your muse think of their company and their group?
in short, jaeyeol likes catalyst overall. the music and lyrics are a bit weird some times but honestly it works for them somehow, and it also fits well with their personal style of dancing, which they’ve been able to bring to the forefront in helping choreograph for songs. the group has allowed them to continue to explore dance styles as they’ve choreographed and tried to figure out things that wouldn’t just work nicely for himself but also all the other members and how they dance. in addition to liking the general concepts and music, they’ve made some friends along the way, which is always nice. in terms of how they feel about gold star, just like every idol probably does, jaeyeol would like to fight them sometimes for the decisions they make or the way they lay out catalyst’s schedule, and their favorite pass time is stressing out their poor manager. though there’s no boiling hatred or anger towards anyone and they’re just vibing. all of this is pretty much the same way jaeyeol felt towards dimensions/unity prior to the restructuring of everything. the only real difference there is that previous jaeyeol was a bit salty they weren’t getting solo schedules and opportunities but that’s different now (maybe because i’m getting better at making claims and establishing what i want to do with my children, maybe not, the world may never know). so yeah, like i said, generally jaeyeol is pleased with catalyst and their success, even if that success isn’t what gold star has initially expected of them.
is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract?
catalyst is still on their first contract, having debuted only in may of 2018. they haven’t been around long enough to move out of their dorms and jaeyeol is still stuck with a roommate and no pet to love on. their first contract renewal isn’t going to be happening until 2025, so both yeol and all the catalyst members have lots of time to think on what they want for their futures. jaeyeol is very appreciative of the fact that it’s still a good few years off because honestly, they have not a clue what their thoughts are on the end of their first contract. it’s weird for them to think that they would have dedicated seven years of their life to catalyst by then, and almost a full decade in total once you factor in the amount of time they spent training prior to debut. the few times that they have thought about this contract ending and them potentially signing onto another seven years spent at gold star has resulted in them going back in forth onw hat they want to do with their lives. on one hand, money is great, but on the other they could potentially have a successful solo career and be doing their own thing. also they’d be thirty-four years old by the time the end of a secret control rolled around to an end and ideally jaeyeol would like to have done the whole settling down, got married, and maybe even had a kid or two by that point. it really isn’t appealing to them to still be bopping around and going woo woo woo woo firetruck at that point.
what are your muse’s goals and motivations?
jaeyeol’s main goals right now are to continue what little bit of a solo career that gold star has let them begin to build. it was just doing some choreography for catalyst but now they’re also being allowed to do modeling projects and expand more outside of the group, which is something that they are firmly enjoying. it’s not that they don’t love catalyst and being a member of the group, but they also like the idea of having an established solo career that is separate from just being an idol so that when catalyst eventually comes to an end sometime in the future, they have something to fall back on and rely on. i guess this is also their motivation in many ways. stability is something that they never really had growing up, which is odd considering that their family was well off in many different ways, but still, they want something more for themselves than the environment they grew up in, which was rather unpleasant. their current goals in relation to that is just continuing to grow and try more things, eventually they want to go on and start choreographing outside of the group and for other groups and maybe even solo songs if the opportunity arrives. in addition to their motivations i mentioned earlier, jaeyeol also just wants to like have something to take pride in and prove to people in their life that were trying to steer them in an entirely different direction where they didn’t want to go, that their happiness was most important and that they could be successful and respected even if they hadn’t gone on to be working a standard desk job or become a doctor or lawyer. they just want to be more than what they thought they could be while growing up and maybe one day be confident enough to speak out more and motivate others to do the same.
what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future?
i touched on this fairly extensively in the first question honestly and explained the one real large ordeal that they are internally dealing with at the moment, and to reiterate, that is their gender and their gender expression. the idea of being anything other than male had never crossed jaeyeol’s mind, let alone potentially questioning their gender to a point of going outside the standard binaries. on top of doing that all in a country where something like that isn’t a widely accepted or supported thing. they thought the only struggle they were going to have like this was their sexual orientation but at least, they were proven wrong. the conflict was brought upon because of me actually and suddenly i realized that i was naturally using gender neutral pronouns to refer to jaeyeol and took it as a sign that my brain was trying to tell me something. so here we are. the idea of jaeyeol questioning their own gender crosssed my mind briefly when i first conjured the image of the muse in my head but it was never any substantial thought, but apparently i had the thought for good reason. and like i also said earlier, they’re testing out the whole option of being non-binary and being perceived as such with those closest to them, including their partner and friends as of right now. though they have no idea where they would be on that spectrum, in terms of whether they feel like they are agender, genderfluid, etc.
if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why.
jaeyeol is living their absolute best life in their career right now if they were to be straight up asked, even though it isn’t much of a solo career outside of their group in the way that people would probably think about having a solo career like having solo music (which is something they aren’t super interested in honestly). the only things that they really have done on their own is some solo magazine covers because gold star media finally came to their sense and realized that they have that absolute beauty that is jaeyeol jeon and are putting those looks to great use other than being (arguably) catalyst’s center or one of the unofficial center’s of the group. so far there’s only been two but they look forward to doing many, many more in the future when the calls come in asking for them. the other part of their established career claims come from partial choreography claims on a few of catalyst’s tracks, including: firetruck, cherry bomb, simon says, and kick it. the list is short but in my brain they’ve been doing their own dance choreographies to songs on instagram/ social medias as well, those are just some of the real official things they have their name attached to at the moment. both of those paths are ones that they would like to continue on with and hope they get to for a long time. the next step they would like to take is choreographing for other groups or people so they can keep expanding their talents and abilities.
a prologue to officially re-introducing ash kwon // aka i decided to re-do this because i changed some parts of ash’s backstory and established career claims after i did this the first time and half of this wasn’t really true anymore rip
also there’s nowhere for me to put this in the answers anymore so i’ll put it here: circles is ash’s best song
content warning: mentions of alcohol abuse and drug use / abuse, but none of it is in-depth
assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different?
for the most part, ash’s general personality and character has stayed the same. he’s the same angsty, creative, romantic dude at heart, but he’s a little more jaded in some ways.
ash moved around before he became a trainee now. he lived in san francisco, sydney, and seattle. when he lived in sydney, it was just him and his mom and he grew really close to her during that time. he doesn’t really feel like he has a home at all since seoul is the longest he’s ever lived somewhere, but he’s less happy so that’s not home either.
ash is a better technical singer now ig, being a main vocal. he focused more on singing as a trainee now instead of dancing. his ankle injury in 2018 was a little more serious now, which is why he doesn’t dance much in his solo music anymore. it’s also why he’s less interested in dance, but, at the same time, i think it leaves more potential for him to re-develop some love for it again.
he’s also now the maknae, although it’s a common joke in the fandom that he doesn’t act like it. he debuted a year and three months younger than before and he feels a lot more beholden to the industry now. has even less of an idea of what he’d be outside of it at this point, even though he got closer to actually leaving it than previous ash ever did.
he’s still had a couple of minor attitude controversies in titan’s early days caused by cultural differences. he was in public relationships in 2016 and 2019. neither were received well for their own reasons. his clubbing habit has gotten him into some controversy, though bc has never issued a statement on it beyond that one time they had to confirm the woman in a picture of him clubbing was his girlfriend because people were trying to accuse him of cheating. he has a passionate anti gallery and obsessive sasaengs that make his life a living hell.
since renewing his contract, ash has also had a few hiatuses of varying lengths due to his physical or mental health. this was true before with how he naturally developed, but it’s more tied together now as a result of generally poor physical and mental health he’s been experiencing for a few years now after his dating scandals and his ankle injury in 2018.
his image is more streamlined now too! he never really had the era of being pushed as a cleancut boyfriend that old ash had around 2018. he’s been marketed as a musical genius / sexy bad boy rockstar / artist with a tortured soul for as long as he’s been majorly pushed individually. this means he’s still very sexualized, but he hates his image a little less because he can be a little more himself as far as personal style and self-expression through tattoos and piercings goes.
what does your muse think of their company and their group?
this hasn’t really changed. ash has no real love for bc entertainment and wouldn’t really care if titan disbanded tomorrow. some of their music is good and some isn’t (though he considers less of it terrible without wolf and gorilla in the mix lmao), but he feels he’s mostly outgrown it as an artist. not that it’s below him, but it’s not what he connects with creatively, which is far more important to him now than it had been when he’d first debuted. he doesn’t hold ill will toward his groupmates unless he feels they’ve given him an individual reason to, and actually feels more guilty toward them for getting involved in scandals and taking hiatuses more than anything, but they’re also not his best friends. he views titan as a purely work endeavor and he doesn’t feel bad about the fact he got about as close as possible to leaving them without actually doing so that he could back during contract renewals. after all, they’d be fine without him. he’s a main vocal, but they’ve got two others. he’s a dancer, but they’ve got two others. he can write music, but titan has never been his main priority there and others are more than capable of doing it. he wants out of both the group and the company but is starkly aware of the fact that he did this to himself when he re-signed out of what he now perceives to have been impulse and greed.
since titan is the seniormost active group under bc, ash tries to be a good senior to his company juniors in general, but there are certainly more welcoming alternatives than him. he worries about them from a distance more than anything else.
is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract?
he’s on his second contract and he definitely regrets renewing. he hadn’t planned to renew for the longest time the lack of privacy and the public criticism and the hate he’d received were just too much, and he had plans that would require him to stop being an active idol, namely marrying his girlfriend of two and a half years at the time. their relationship wasn’t stable enough at the time for that to be a good idea and that was proven when they broke up shortly before final negotiations for contract renewals, but ash wanted an excuse to escape and the idea of a happy, normal life more than he wanted to be rational.
spite after the (very brief lmao) break up was part of his decision to renew, but bc entertainment also offered to support him as a songwriter and producer in addition to allowing him to regularly release solo music. he still really loved music and his first taste of promoting as a solo artist had been right before renewals as a proposal to sway him into re-signing, so he was swayed to sign on for seven more years. they followed through on their promises, but he struggles to weigh the recognition he’s earned as a solo artist and songwriter-producer against signing his life away again and doing a number on his physicla and mental health. most of his health issues and his hiatuses have happened during his second contract, as well as several behind-the-scenes situations that could have become scandals if they’d had any less luck, mostly stemming from ash drinking too much and his occasional recreational drug use, so he’s not sure bc even really feels the contract renewal was entirely worth it.
what are your muse’s goals and motivations?
if you asked ash this, he wouldn’t know what to answer. he doesn’t feel very motivated these days and pretty much feels like he only does anything because he’s contractually obligated to. making music as a form of expression has long been his main drive, and beyond that, the desire to make a mark on the world he can be remembered by through his music, but he often oscillates now between feeling like there’s not much more he can realistically achieve and the sense of hopelessness that he can try as hard as he wants, but his music’s never going to be what he’s defined by when he’s a public figure with an image.
he also feels a duty to make his parents proud. though i could argue that might be less now than it was in the previous iteration of ash, it’s still very much there. they let him come to seoul when he’d just turned thirteen to follow a dream that many never get to follow all the way through to the end and they believed in him fully. they express how proud they are of him when they do talk, but he doesn’t know that he believes them. he doesn’t feel that anything he’s done has been deserving of paying them back for everything they’ve given to him.
right now, he wants to be able to feel excited about his life and what he’s making again. he’s trying to better himself internally in regards to the way he views himself and his mental health, although he’s more prone to still taking steps backwards there than he was at this point previously. a lot of the ways ash has found to feel that excitement and creativity he wants (such as recreational drugs and excessive alcohol consumption and fleeting, sometimes toxic, relationships) do damage to his mental wellbeing, so it’s a balancing act at the moment.
what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future?
i covered this partially with the last one, but one major conflict remains his internal conflict about his passion for music. this was very much where ash was before as well, but now that i’m really pushing songwriting and producing as his main career path, it presents a more equal professional and personal challenge for him.
more than having truly lost joy in making music, he’s burnt out. his latest album lovesick was emotionally exhausting because it was a partially rushed, deeply personal and vulnerable album exclusively based on an unhealthy relationship that had stretched its hold on him out over for almost six years, and then he went into making music that he couldn’t relate to at all and didn’t really fit his image all because bc thought it would sell well.
the burn out in his personal life has affected the burn out in his professional life he would be feeling anyway and made it ten times worse. it feels more hopeless because he doesn’t have much else going for him. in the past few months, his relationship with alcohol and drugs also reverted back to unhealthy after he was doing better with it for a while, not helped by a really bad stint with his mental health. all of this was at its worse in june before he went on hiatus, and in this universe, his behavior was more of a factor in his hiatus than him practically begging to leave the group because ash is more resigned to the fact that he chose to sign back on with bc and that that’s on him. instead, there was more of a push by his manager, who knew that ash was on the road to a major scandal if action wasn’t taken.
almost all of his conflicts are internal right now. he’s become successful enough that external factors other than the large umbrella of having to remain in titan can be negotiated, but he’s too tired to do so because of everything going on inside of him. there’s a lot of negative feelings going on inside of him, and he’s trying to deal with them one by one, but it’s hard to see the weight of them easing that way.
if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why.
ash has been able to establish himself a little more as a songwriter and producer outside of his solo music. he wrote “universe” for titan in 2017, and after that, as promised, bc hooking him up with the right opportunities and connections to establish himself more. since then, in addition to his heavy involvement in his solo music (his 2020 album lovesick was entirely written/composed/produced by him alone), he’s worked on calypso’s “rollin’” in 2018, polaris’s “fake love” (a korean music awards song of the year!) and “the truth untold” in 2019, and lily’s “i’m so sick” this year. i’m planning on more being added there with these extra ecp and maybe some refunded since i think i’m going to drop some of his points claims to streamline his career better.
his canon discography creative claims reflect his progression as a songwriter, from very earnest and romantic to more sensual to very uhhh angsty and personal to developing a more polished and professional sound as he grew in experience as a songwriter and producer.
ash is praised for having several representative works as a songwriter that all speak to his individual style, and ash is happy with what he’s gotten to do since he does genuinely enjoy working as a songwriter and producer.
he’s planning to continue branching out in this direction, so look for quite a lot of ash dabbling in canon discographies in the future. before, i’d say ash’s primary push was solo music, but my plan for him is for songwriting and producing to be his main career path from now on with solo music as a close secondary.
1. assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different? these can be as small as an opinion on a song they hadn’t released previously or as big as a major change in their background.

idk if i’ve said this on dash yet, but i’m treating new famed more or less like an au. in sung’s au, the defining change is that he was let go from gold star when he had his injury as a trainee. it was always my headcanon that they truly were close to cutting him loose anyway, so this is just the other side of that. he had his injury, got plastic surgery to try to appease them into keeping him, and they still let him go. when he went home his parents said alright u tried that now join the fam business n sung freaked bc he realized he doesnt want that for himself so he went to do smth he also hated, and joined the military. while there he still worked on his dance and vocals whenever he had a moment to do so, so that when he was discharged and started auditioning again, he wasn’t so rusty
he is a year younger in this world, just bc of quantum’s age range, not for any other reason. makes him a little less of a cradle robber in his relationship lol which, another change is that daisuke wouldn’t have been his first kiss, just first everything else
quantum is very different from old element and new element, but it’s very in line with what i liked about quicksilver (& has models from that) and he’s a leader! this is an idea ive toyed with a lot over the last three years tbh. at first i didn’t think sung suited a leader position, but he came to show me he’s just a different kind of leader. i liken him to jinki often in this regard. rather than lassoing members in, he supports them being however they are, and takes an intimate/emotional path to gaining their trust and leading them. and while he wasn’t suited for the full business life, what he learned from his father’s teachings helps him in dealing with the company as the group’s representative there (& he loves a good powerpoint presentation)
other timeline stuff for big events in his life are likely to shift but i’m not sure on specifics yet
2. what does your muse think of their company and their group?
wc: 260
as the child of a businessman, he’s never under the illusion that as a company entity, their first priority is their wellbeing. he knows that they are products, and that they’re treated as such. it’s a bit heavier with dimensions than gold star, since gold star makes a more active effort to pretend they care. however, once having accepted that, sung thinks himself and dimensions work well together. he does feel that for a company, they allow himself and his members to be a part of the creative process, as says their motto. he feels much more encouraged to write songs and choreograph under dimensions than he did under gold star, where it felt like he was constantly on his knees begging for the company to take him seriously
as for quantum, sung really loves what they’re about. he’s not a big fan of all (or most) of their songs, though he’s more loving towards a song written by another member even if it’s the same sound he dislikes, but he absolutely loves being focused on performance and concepts. his creative mind works very much on the basis of story and emotion that comes with it, and he feels like quantum’s concepts sometimes to often lean into his tastes. he’s always been a dancer first and foremost (god am i so glad to have his main dancer title back i MISSED u) so focusing on performance is v much up his alley, and his preferred style of dance is through storytelling. he feels the heart of dance is in that
3. is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract?
wc: 281
quantum’s on their first contract still, up for renewal in 2024. at the current moment, he would like to re-sign. however, unlike my others, his re-signing depends more heavily on the other members. if they were unhappy and wanted to leave, sung would want to follow suit, not because he can’t make his own decisions, but because if the reason the members want to leave is because of the company, not quantum, he’d want to try to help quantum continue to live. if that means all of the members leaving in order to rebrand under another company, so be it. he’d like to avoid lineup changes however he can, and ideally would like to be an idol for as long as possible
he himself feels alright about his treatment. he feels creatively stimulated, and appreciated for talents further than his face. if he were to try to negotiate different terms at their contract renewal, part of it would likely be wanting to give members a higher share of profits, especially on releases they’re creatively involved in. sung personally has no use for excessive money, but not all of his members have his background, and he feels more than just the money, it’s what’s fair. he’d also prefer to allow for more creative freedom. as a 7/8 year group by then, he’d think they should be allowed to take the reigns more heavily. and on his personal side of things, he would want dimensions to be more mindful of his schedule. sung enjoys working, but he’s only one person, who doesn’t want to be overworked. these are all just his current thoughts, though, and will probably change before contract renewal comes up
4. what are your muse’s goals and motivations?
wc: 294
his motivations to be ‘successful’ and/or achieve his goals are his family, namely being someone his nephew and niece can be proud of, and someone his parents can feel was worth letting go of. he feels closer to the latter than he did in old famed. his members motivate him to be a good leader, his desire to grow as a creator motivates him to write and choreograph
specific goals could be bigger like his desire for more public recognition. while quantum has a lot more recognition both in korea and abroad than element or quicksilver, sung wants the best for his group. he’d be happy if they stayed where they are with their loyal fandom, but he still aims for more
sung also wants to get better at standing up for himself. he’s best at standing up for others, because he can slap on a bit of bravado in order to help them out, but when it comes to himself, especially with his parents, he’s pretty awful at it
he’d also like to create more for quantum, and others. i/he have a goal for him to write a whole album for someone, so if anyone reads this far and could want sung writing for their muse, hit me up!
he’d like to get married and have children one day. that’s always been a dream of his, and while he knows his career doesn’t allow for that soon, it’s still on his docket
he wants to spend more time with his family, especially his nephew and niece. they’re so new to the world and learning everything, and sung wants to be a part of that. he doesnt want his part in their early lives to be ‘i don’t really remember seeing him back then’
5. what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future?
wc: 291
at some point, this bitch is gonna have to admit he’s a homiesexual. in his previous version, it was a lot easier for him to ‘i pretend i do not see it’ when it came to that. sung’s very ignorant when it comes to the queer community in korea, so he’s not even really aware of terms beyond gay, maybe trans. but, terms aside, he always thought he was someone who liked women, and daisuke and a couple of others were just outliers. they were the Special ones outside of his jurisdiction that were just too good for him to not notice. aka he believed he was bi. and now, he still does, but i have less faith he’ll be able to hold that up until he dies like i did before, because he’s actually dated at least one woman before in this world. considering the plot has yet to be picked up, i don’t know the specifics, but i do think it’s harder to run away from when the way he treated a relationship with a woman and a relationship with a man were lightyears away from one another. it’s still possible for him to run away from the truth of the situation, but it’s also very possible that one day, his thoughts on it will shake, and everything will click into place (messily,, probably the messiest clicking ever) it would be a difficult thing for him to come to terms with, though i think it’s better for him in the longterm to truly know who he is, and why he acts the way he does, why he feels the way he does about women vs men. it’s also nice just to not live a lie, even if only privately
6. if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why.
wc: 523
sung has a pretty filled history of individual activities. most are points claims with a focus on modelling, his radio, and music, though he’s dipped into pretty much ever facet of idoldom, some with more success than others. his ecp expenditures flesh that out a little more, and add a bit more realism, and/or make sense of the group changes. he had a one year modelling contract with the north face, and while official claims aren’t possible, i was inspired by a couple of things rowoon did with them. there was more of a push on an eco-friendly side of things, and there was a bit of dancing. playing into his group position with dancing i feel is fitting, but the eco friendly part i also feel could round out his image more as a good, kind boy who also can be sexy, whereas before, his earlier modelling claims focused a lot more on the sexy aspect, because it fit element and his trajectory there better. here, it makes him more dual sided from the beginning. north face is also just a nice, strong brand that i think is fitting for a pretty boi. i set it a bit after a year out from debut because i feel like that’s the most realistic, especially for a group like quantum that grew audience with each comeback
part of that first year being focusing only on the group ties into his creative claims as well! his first creative claim was with the bside love, lalala on the eternity ep. the nicest part of creative claims being unattached to positions is that all of sung’s claims are the songs in the discography most Him. so love lalala is very jazzy and smooth, and would have served as his first introduction to songwriting, as well as what made him interested in songwriting. then he was a choreographer on error, which is heavily story based, and about the members being a unit, and making beautiful pictures together. i hope to snag intro long journey and outro long journey from the beginning and end of the ateez sector, because they’re beautiful compositions that fit sung’s style, but also having him on both makes him feel like he’s a part of the concept’s creation in an intimate way, which fits with dms. then there’s aurora, which sung partially composed and partially choreographed. the choreography has contemporary flair to it, and the song is a flowing sound that matches that. then there’s partial production on sunrise, which i just love the robotic ass experimental production there, and comp for with u, which i believe ties back into sung’s rediscovering his love of piano. choreo for valkyrie is most similar to error in it’s pretty pictures way, and also has a bit of complex footwork, especially as its point dance, which is also p sung to want to include. and finally, some comp on stand by, which is like a mix of the appeal of aurora and with u methinks? listening to all of his written songs together i feel like really makes a picture of sung’s songwriting so i love that
assuming your muse has changed in some way, be it internally or as a result of a change of the external factors around them, how is your muse different? these can be as small as an opinion on a song they hadn’t released previously or as big as a major change in their background. // wc: 575
jaein’s the muse of mine that has gone through the most changes in order to fit her into a new position.
first of all, she’s been aged down a year because of the age range of ultraviolet which also means her siblings have all been aged down a year too. ultimately, this doesn’t change much about herself as she’s still the eldest of four children and from a conservative city, but it is a minor change that’s occurred. her father is not a regular office worker anymore but is instead a non-commissioned officer in the ROK army. her mother’s occupation remains the same but what this brings on is an even more conservative environment for jaein to have grown up in. she’s also a lot more athletic now because of her father’s emphasis on being physically healthy. she’ll take jogs at night in order to get her mind off of things or go biking around the han river if she needs some time to herself. she’s also learned taekwondo starting at a young age and even dipped her feet into archery due to her father’s wishes. the latter never stuck past junior high, but she did get a black belt in taekwondo and is still quite good at it.
the family change also means that instead of wanting to become an idol to prove her parents wrong, jaein instead goes off to college in seoul in order to almost escape her parents. the idol thing just comes along because she joins a busking and dancing club once she starts college. while the past version of jaein was feeling helpless because she feels like she can never prove anything to her parents, this version of jaein will insist that she doesn’t need to prove anything to her parents even though her heart argues otherwise. a lot of her problems become more unconscious and internal as she argues with herself that she’s completely fine with not getting attention from her parents but really, she’s still desiring that.
her position has also changed from being a lead dancer and lead vocal to just a lead vocal. taking a look at her real-life counterparts, i’d say that her overall skill level has probably decreased a tad bit as well. she’s the only member in ultraviolet to not have a main position in anything which makes her now a member who sort of blends into the group well enough to not stick out like a sore thumb but also not good enough to really stand out as a star. she’s more of a regular member and the general public might even think that she’s not really fit to be in a group like ultraviolet. instead, they’d probably see that she fits a group like candy or even some of equinox’s brighter releases like happiness or red flavor.
with the position change and a slight image shift, she won’t be individually pushed as much as she was back when she was with lucid. while she’s still the leader of the group, ultraviolet as a whole has a much different group image and relevancy level since debut so they don’t need her to be a group spokesperson (said changes will also be implemented once past claimed points claims get figured out). however, she still has a public idol image similar to jaein 1.0. she’s expected to be bubbly and enthusiastic and is closer to being a sort of ideal girlfriend image now.
what does your muse think of their company and their group? // wc: 281
she’ll say that the best thing gold star media ever did was debut platinum. that’s a joke. sort of. they are her favorite musical canon group within famed though because she loves easy listening music which a lot of platinum’s music consists of (special shout out to songs like sweet girl, empty, and beautiful pain). other than that, however, she actually doesn’t have a lot of thoughts about her company. at the end of the day, they’re her employer and she just follows whatever they ask her to do. so far, she doesn’t think their treatment of the group has been very bad, and she just hopes it stays decent up until the end of their contract.
ultraviolet doesn’t exactly put out any music that she enjoys. the closest they’ve come is probably as if it’s your last and stay but the heavier, girl crush songs just aren’t her style. she enjoys easy listening music which is like the farthest thing to use when describing her group’s image and sound. the overwhelming amount of success they’ve found both domestically and internationally since their debut is something that jaein’s still trying to get used to. she’s never really been the center of attention and though she’s arguably the least focused on member out of the four, just the overall attention that ultraviolet gets feels like a lot to her. having grown up with her parents telling her that she has to lead by example, it’s become a habit for her as the leader to feel that pressure all on her own (something that hasn’t changed about her though the intensity level is simply lowered because she’s not as important of a member).
is your muse on their first contract or their second? if they’ve renewed, what were their feelings around that at the time and what were their hopes for their second contract? if they haven’t renewed, what are their current thoughts on the end of their eventual first contract? // wc: 293
jaein is currently on her first contract with gold star since she debuted only two years ago. though those two years have felt very long because of the success that came with the group starting from their debut. there’s still quite a lot of time left until ultraviolet will even have to start thinking about contract renewals, but this idol life just doesn’t seem to be it for jaein. it’s not like she ever dreamed of becoming an idol. when she got approached by a casting manager during one of her busking sessions, she didn’t even want to go to the audition. it was mostly the members of the busking club that convinced her to try it out because “there’s no harm in trying” and “you’ll regret not doing it later in your life”. the last thing she even expected was to become a trainee. she never went out to find the idol life; it sort of came to her instead.
however, she thinks by the time that contract renewals do come around for ultraviolet, she’ll most likely not resign. she’s not like some of the other girls where this life is all or nothing. she has a college degree so realistically, she thinks she can live a life once she retires. two years in and she’s already so overwhelmed and exhausted with everything that comes from ultraviolet promotions alone that she can’t imagine doing this for any years beyond the seven that she’s signed up for so far. there will undeniably be a lot of guilt if her not resigning is the cause of a disbandment, and she know fans will be upset (if they’re still relevant to that time, of course), but she simply doesn’t think she can do it anymore.
what are your muse’s goals and motivations? // wc: 266
to get through her career with as little trouble as possible. trouble could come in a lot of forms such as scandals or bad rumors or really bad sasaeng fans, but she sort of just wants a smooth sailing career. that might be hard seeing that ultraviolet is quite literally hot at the moment with their popularity and a bunch of things come along with popularity, but she hopes that she gets to remain sort of hidden in comparison to the other members so she doesn’t have to deal with it as much. at the end of the day, her final goal is probably to retire in peace and go off and live a life where nobody knows where she is. i’ve always hc-ed that she ends up being one of those idols who absolutely disappear once their group disbands and then shows up years later at a member’s wedding, and that’s the only time people hear of them.
her internal motivation in regards to her career come mostly from her virtue of being a responsible person. she doesn’t like letting people down when they’re depending on her, and she hates being a burden to anybody which is why she’s so obedient when it comes to her career. she really doesn’t argue nor does she rebel (could be said it’s a habit of growing up under a father who’s a military man). that doesn’t mean she’s a debby downer or anything because she does know how to live life and have fun, but she also knows how to be a professional when she has to be.
what is one conflict, internal or external, that your muse is currently dealing with, has recently dealt with, or will need to deal with in the future? // tw: misogyny, wc: 255
her biggest conflict is definitely still her family. as much as jaein wants to deny that they have influence on her (she claims that she’s been out of their reaches since she started college in seoul), that doesn’t make the years she spent growing up beneath them disappear. her habits and thoughts and burdens that she continues to feel all come from the grasp her family has on her. she’s always been raised to be responsible and caring for those around her as she has to lead by example, and that still remains true even if she isn’t living with her family. the leader position she got definitely doesn’t help any of that disappear. similar to jaein 1.0, she has a good relationship with her younger sister since jaeeun’s gone through similar things as the other female sibling. however, she’s still a little awkward when it comes to her younger brothers as they’ve been spoiled out of their minds. she tries not to blame them but the resentment remains.
there’s a lot of denying and hiding of feelings when it comes to jaein and her family. she tries to escape it, but she’s the epitome of old habits die hard because she’s still living like she lived back in daegu with the way she acts. she’s learned to have some fun and actually live life as someone other than the ryu’s eldest daughter ever since she entered college, but the habits are still there. the thoughts that keep her awake at night are still there.
if your muse has established career claims, what are their thoughts on their career so far? if they do not, how do they feel about not having individual activities yet? what would they like to do in the future, if anything? if they don’t have ambitions for individual activities, explain why. // wc: 252
currently, the only established career claims jaein has are in modeling and music. she only has one ost for record of youth that was given to her almost suddenly. even as a lead vocalist, she’s not the world’s most skilled singer, but she enjoyed the opportunity. she’s not expecting to become some known ost singer or anything, however, and she doesn’t think gold star is leaning on that either when it comes to jaein.
her modeling claims include a year brand ambassador claim and a single magazine cover. since all of ultraviolet are pretty girls and their group itself has name value, modeling is a pretty straightforward career choice for jaein. with her image, she gets a lot of offers for beauty products mostly such as skincare or makeup. there’s a sort of clean and bubbly image tied in with jaein that becomes evident in her brand offers and shoots as well. she gets to do the whole badass, girl cruch concept with her group members but when she’s all on her own, she gets things that don’t look like they’re in line with ultraviolet’s concept.
jaein doesn’t need individual activities. she’s pretty satisfied with what she’s been given so far, and she’s okay with being the member that’s sort of left behind when it comes to a group as big as ultraviolet because that still means she’s getting something. she understands she’s not the most eye-catching member so it makes sense that she doesn’t get as many opportunities as her members.
