i have quite a few ideas for her, so expect to see more of rina!
quick rundown though:
rina is a creature from the depths of the ocean, who was outcast by her fellow sea creatures because of her stage fright not allowing her to sing in front of others. she eventually swam all the way to the island starr park is on. she was very shy at first, but warmed up to the other brawlers and also adjusted well to being on land.
rina has many hobbies, primarily singing/acting (not in front of others!) and collecting/decorating seashells.
attack - seashell shot
rina summons several sharp seashells that scatter in many directions towards enemies to damage them.
super - song of the sea
rina blows into her conch shell, creating a powerful note that stuns all enemies within her range for 2 seconds.
gadget 1 - cursed conch
rina's next super will stun enemies for 4 seconds instead of 2.
gadget 2 - sharp shells
rina's attack goes up for the next 6 seconds.
star power 1 - escape exit
rina gains a speed boost after not attacking for 3 seconds.
star power 2 - pitiful cry
rina's defense goes up by a lot if she has 10% health or less.
(sorry i don't actually know if these are overpowered or whatever lmao)
rina's a damage dealer with average speed, strong attack, and lower defense.
no, rina can't walk in water. i mean, have you tried running in water?!
rina saw penny while she was on her journey, and was inspired by her skull headband. so, rina fashioned one of her own, with the band being a string of pearls, and the skull being a large shell with eyes carved into it.
rina's favorite food is dried seaweed.
the starfish charm on rina's necklace was a token of friendship from otis. both brawlers bonded over coming from the ocean and feeling misunderstood by others.
if rina were a real brawler, she'd be part of the ocean trio alongside otis.
rina is more adjusted to being on land than you might think! but no one can beat her in swimming competitions at velocirapids.
before getting used to land, rina pretty much had to flop from one place to another. jessie and pam saw this, and took it as an opportunity to make rina a custom water tank with wheels!
rina has a bad randoms logo tattoo on her right arm- she's a big fan of them after arriving at starr park. her favorite member is trash poco.
rina's scared of edgar, but finds colette interesting and fun.
wait... if penny is a pirate and rina is supposed to be the siren, then penny x rina confirmed?! /j
