I love the part in Grim Fandango where Manny is poking around the tattoo parlor and says, "I think these are binders of tattoo designs. They're labeled Nautical and Nice and a third one just says Anchor Mania!" Whenever I'm in that area of the game I have to click on the binders a bunch of times just so I can hear him say the line!

I am pleased with the weathered, scrimshaw-esque look I achieved here. I painted the wood first with some white paint mixed with a lot of water, then did the laser cutting/etching afterwards.

It’s still a WIP but I’m happy with how it’s turning out!

Ramble under the cut

I hate painting but I have to paint my pins rather then color them with my marker’s, cuz they’ll Bleed over eachother when I put the glue to protect it.

And it’s SUPER annoying cuz I don’t have a lot of paint due to NOT liking painting, but ya know.

And I guess the more pins I make the better and less frustrating it gets, so maybe I didn’t like it cuz it was difficult.

Wait I NO I did the thing were I got mad cuz I wasn’t good at it the 1st time I ever did it!!!!

FU-

All right imma gonna remind myself that I will NOT be good at it immediately, and to take my time to get used to it and learn.
