My favourite thing is how Technoblade's lone-wolf arctic outpost has grown so much and tells the history of those who've been there.
At first he turned Phil away so he could be edgy and cool-, the house he built was copied exactly from a tutorial and completely empty bar a few chests and furnaces.
But over time it changed, became more personalised to suit Technos needs and taste. More brewing stands, workbenches, and enchanting tools scattered wherever they were most convenient at the time. A basement carved out to house rare mobs and the sole survivor of the old cow farm. Posters on the wall reminding him of his victories. The turtle and bee farms established for a specific purpose but remaining past their usefulness simply for the aesthetic (and laziness).
Then Tommy came and changed things again. He created a period of unrest, constantly keeping Techno on his toes and leaving his mark on everything. He stole whatever he wanted and trashed any prexisting organisation. He burrowed underneath the floorboards to hide before turning around and lava casting an enormous cobblestone tower in the middle of the horizon. His one attempt at a proper house lay unfinished next to Techno's.
More than anything Tommy's presence was... Loud. In more ways than one.
Then Tommy left Techno and the proof of his presence was erased.
Underground bunker destroyed minutes before the attack on L'manberg. Cobblestone tower torn down stone by stone. Ramshackle hut lasting longer only out of fear of upseting the ghost of Wilbur Soot.
But with L'manberg gone Phil moves in permanently and Ranboo sets up in the nook to the surrounding mountains.
Techno's house fills with the noise of too many pets.
Ranboos temporary camp grows and is upgraded until there is a proper home standing in its place.
Phil fills the space where Tommy's hut was with a new house, cozy and practical. Philza's presence brings with it a sense of safety that settles gently over the area, bringing a charming aesthetic and keeping mobs at bay.
From a solitary hut in the middle of the snowy tundra to a small community of people and builds. It has become a place where friends gather to celebrate. Where Niki can feel safe without having lived there.
And although the future is hard to predict, this place will only continue to grow. Those who would seek to do it harm understand the wrath of the Blood God is something to be feared.
