Y'know, airplane-witch-hamster is not a combination I've ever thought of experimenting with myself. It works surprisingly well together, though. Yeah, bought this one to have a companion for Crossmessiah. Very weird kit, lot of weird decisions, but still quite fun.
The Good: The best part of this kit is the build. It has so many weirdly shaped parts and interesting parts usage. The final product isn't bad either, with good above the waist posability, and a fun gimmick in the hamster.
The Bad: Terrible feet, and a not great stand make this one difficult to balance without tripoding it with its broom. And while I do like the build, there're some weird parts additions and omissions? Like, it includes the smallest rings for the hair I've ever seen, but doesn't do the white and black at the top of the head? Just a little strange.
The Details: There were a number of small white and yellow stripe details that I added in with paint, in addition to the usual panel lining. I also filled in a lot of the thruster detail with black. The hamster required quite a bit of paint, and I added the blue to the stand.
I tried several different things for the eyes, from painting them silver, to including an iris. I eventually settled on painting them black, and used a toothpick to put a white dot in the top left corner of the eye to create a faux glare to match the official art.
Overall, it's not as straightforward as Crossmessiah, and requires quite a bit more love to get on model, but it's a fun build regardless. Its posability below the waist leaves a lot to be desired, but above the waist is fine. I wouldn't have grabbed it if I didn't have Crossmessiah, but I think it's the only female Medarot kit? So it is unique.
