Based on NOTHING (read: based almost entirely on the way Knife Lore depicts him in her videos), I really love to imagine Babs and Protesilaus having a similar thing as Gideon and Dulcinea, but, like. Obviously they're not talking. Babs is talking to himself, but I also imagine he finds it really cathartic? Like, the Tridentarii get in a fight, and Babs is sulking by himself somewhere (I don't believe a cavalier trained for his purpose since birth would ever abandon his necromancers, even if they were fighting but go with me), and comes across Pro doing his ghastly deeds, and just like starts venting. And Pro is just standing there not responding, barely more than a mannequin, and after he leaves, Babs is just like "wow what a good listener that guy's my bro(tesilaus)"

Every week viewers swear Euphoria has changed and it has not! It's always been shot like a student-made indie of a hallucination dream-sequence, drugs have always been glorified, and the audience has always been too young to view these characters/situations as anything other than role-models. The only things saving the obvious acknowledgement to this truth is the acting is decent, Rue's mental health depiction when she's not running around like a Nick at Nite caricature, plus the signature music and strobe lights (which they have lost)...

You've always been watching one sick man's disguised fantasy; the sexual gratification of women has always been there; it just became more obvious last season. Now, you only have Sydney and Hunter (occasionally) who put up with it since he got crazier; Maddy was written into an unnecessary topless scene in season 1, and dicks have been on display since the first episode. Sam Levinson's writing didn't change; you've just become more exposed to it when it was literally put in your face
