Finally, I can bake again!! 🥳🎉🎊✨️🙏🏼🌈🌞😋😍🥰 After 2 and a half months of waiting for my landlord to provide me with a working oven, I got a brand new oven, today!!! It should've been addressed and remedied within 72 hours of my notification that it didn't work, but my landlord sucks, to be completely honest😁🤣🤭 Being my kind, patient self wasn't getting me anywhere so I finally sent a photo of the Washington state statute from the Landlord Tenant Act that states what a landlord's obligations are and what my recourse for remedy is... I then pointed out that I was about to prepare a declaration and go to court to get a working oven. I didn't like having to do that, and I, definitely, didn't want an adversarial, litigious relationship with them, but enough was enough. I need to be able to cook and bake for my mental health and to make money. Once I pointed those things out, eloquently and in no uncertain terms, he was very agreeable. Long story short... well, I missed that, didn't I? Anyhow... I got a brand new stove, today. All I wanted was 4 burners and some knobs, but they bought me a glass stove top with all kinds of abilities like convection cooking, air frying, a warning burner, timers, etc... I do not like glass top stoves because they're hard to maintain, but I'm thrilled to have this appliance with which to bake and cook again!! I'll just polish and wax it a lot. Fun, fun, fun. I'm baking a carrot cake tonight. I can't wait to bake something beside cupcakes, which was the only think I could bake in the broken oven. I'm making cream puffs next, I think!!! I'm very excited!! I already feel more at peace knowing that I can bake anything I want to bake again!!! Life is good!!! 🏡🥳🎉🎊🌈🌞✨️💫😍😋🥰❤️❤️
