Enjoy a delicious meal with smoky pork chops and a sweet blackberry-wine barbecue sauce. This recipe makes your barbecue experience a little more fancy, which makes it a great choice for any event.
Ingredients: 4 pork chops. 1 cup blackberries. 1/2 cup red wine. 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar. 1/4 cup honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika should be used to season pork chops. Put blackberries, red wine, balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and Dijon mustard in a saucepan. Over medium heat, bring the sauce to a simmer and stir it every so often for about 10 to 12 minutes, or until the blackberries break down and the sauce thickens. Strain the sauce to get rid of the solids and seeds. Put the liquid back into the saucepan and throw away the solids. Apply olive oil to the pork chops and cook them on the grill for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked. While the pork chops are still on the grill, baste them with the blackberry-wine barbecue sauce. After taking the pork chops off the grill, let them rest for a few minutes. Then, add some fresh parsley on top of them. BBQ blackberry wine sauce should be served on the side with the grilled pork chops.
