the thing is i hate the actual banddom part of spg??? like i love the characters and the music and the lore but i just. rlly hate banddomn culture bc my abusive ex boyfriend was SUPER FUCKING INTO emo bands and classic rock and i have to flee the room if a beatles song is playing and the fucking phrase “we can be heros” makes me feel physically sick and i start breathing like i just ran a marathon and hearing about how some eyeliner boy is a cinnomon roll makes me want to punch someone in the face and so the entire culture of bandoms has been ruined forever me

and also, with the exception of a few webshow host, i dont CARE about real people i care about concepts and stories and like. celebrity culture bores me and thats not a judgement of anyone who likes that sort of thing, hobbyist and fans are wonderful its just. idk i dont. give a shit about the real world, like even with history i like learning more about fashion trends and pop culture and the way people lived their lives then i do actual historical figures

like i know “im not interested in reality” sounds really pretentious but its just???? how i feel???? bluhhh

ok yuri on ice seriously bothers me because etc etc the standard ‘yaoi is fetishization’ arguments apply but also now it involves russian and japanese characters where both cultures are not accepting of that irl especially russia

like the majority of russia is still extremely against homosexuality so it seems really disrespectful to actual lgbt people there imo

Okay I just need to laugh at Big Order for a sec because OH MY GOD I knew it was gonna be bad, but I am just laughing. So hard. That was such an appallingly bad show. 

Like Mirai Nikki was riddled with plot holes and stolen characters, but it was at least fun and made some semblance of sense. Big Order was just, what the hell even was that? I don’t know what the manga’s like, but you can’t shove that many characters and plot elements into a ten episode show and expect it to make proper sense while also throwing in three different love interests.

And the finale ACTUALLY managed to get good for like what? five minutes? before it went and just got laughably horrible.

That was bad. That was so bad. I’m looking at the rating I gave it on MAL and the only other show I have rated that low was Legend of Duo which was practically a fucking slide show.

I well never end my hatred of Rick Riodan and my disapproval of people who buy his books/give him money. throw your money into the trash. it's better spent there than on Percy Jackson or whatever trashy books he makes next.
