Mission Briefing: Reintroductions
I was tagged by @notbrogues who, as I'm sure you're all aware of by now, is probably one of the coolest Moms we could possibly have (she keeps me in line, at least). I'm a third year university student and I generally go by Haylee (and to anyone else who knows me, there’s the other one), but feel free to drop me a line since I’m always willing to make friends :) I wound up in this fandom in..... August? of 2015 (when a friend of mine introduced it to me via Netflix) but I didn't really become truly active until 2016 when I started writing again (a fair number of my ficlets are posted on my blog if you care to dig through it, or you can head over to my ao3 where I'm also nerdyydragon for any expanded versions - I've got a handful of longer works there as well). Hartwin is definitely my otp for this fandom in particular (but if we're shooting for bros, Roxy and Eggsy are my murder children, and young Merlahad would definitely rank as well though I've never written it). But then, with the new film coming out, I'm sure something else will catch my eye and none of you will ever hear the end of it. I'm a writer as you've probably guessed, but not just for fandoms, and I also enjoy art, music, literature, and futbol, and several fandoms that I may or may not have fallen out of touch with depending on what they are. So if any of those interest you, feel free to come Yell. Introducting: Astaraiche's Oisinn
Thus far we've introduced writers and artists within the fandom, showing you their fanworks. But we're also going to introduce others within the fandom, including those who are simply fans, as evidenced by their blogs full of Hobbit goodness.
So our first fan is astaraiches-oisinn, who can not only be found reblogging every awesome Hobbit photo in existence, but also on AO3 reading and bookmarking lots of Hobbit stories!
This is one of those people who may not say much, but you can't help but smile whenever their name pops up, because they're incredibly supportive of this fandom and the individuals within it.
And if you're looking for a blog to follow, which has plenty of Hobbit, as well as LOTR, the actors, Britchell, Being Human and more, this is definitely one to follow!

Introducing: LittlestSecret!
Introducing: littlestsecret!
The next member of our fandom introduction is littlestsecret! She's both a writer and an artist in the Hobbit fandom, with a penchant for drawing and writing the Durin boys (and sometimes in situations not viewable for all--but we're good with this. Very, very good with this).
LittlestSecret has also penned a number of Hobbit fiction stories over on AO3. Her current work-in-progress is a story called Gúðleifir which features your favorite characters from the fandom presented uniquely, including undine Fili. It's a fantasy AU set upon the sea, and she updates it weekly. Otherwise, you can check out her profile for plenty of other stories!
As mentioned, she's also an artist, and you can nip over to her blog at littlestsecret to find some of these lovely works! She's got an array of different images of Fili and Kili in different AUs - including figure skaters, Star Wars, and Brazilian Rainbow Boas. (Was anybody expecting that? We weren't expecting that.)
