Well this is one way to screw up a hat. I had to discard the other one for the same reason. To small and not enough stretch. I prefer my hats a little more tight and wool is very forgiving.

But alas, way to small. But hey, it works perfect as a cozy for my switch. So thats good! At least this time I'll be sure to not mess up entirely.

If I like too, i think this will fit on a small statue too that I can yarn bomb. I'd have to check.

Okay so I feverishly worked up a pattern for Emily’s Scarf. I hope it works! I don’t have any pictures yet because mine is kind of scrap while I was figuring it out. Good luck!

Thinking about designing some fingerless mittens inspired by Kate Bishop aka Hawkeye. One of the yarns I have for that is from a Doctor Who yarn club, aka a Donna Noble yarn. Got a feeling my knitting is overrun by fandom things!

Tron shawl.

This computer hardware theme is also a major part of the movie Tron. I’ve been a nerd my whole life, sci-fi as well as everything computer based were a big thing for me from before I could read. Tron is partially set in a computer generated world and the uniforms worn by the ‘Program’ characters have coloured circuit lines. The good guys are”mostly in the bright, glowing blue like the shawl, so choose to be a good guy (blue) or a bad one (red).

A quick update on sock progress. Here's a slightly tilted shot of how far I've gotten - just started the calf increases, actually. You can also see how much yarn I've used from the first skein.

Cast on my rad Doctor Who knee socks. The pattern is TARDISocks by Anna Richardson, which you can buy on Ravelry here. I had to modify it quite a bit to fit my small, narrow feet but the pattern is very forgiving to that sort of thing. And loooook there is a little TARDIS pattern forming on it, so cute!

I am kind of in love with the way the stripes are forming with the Felici yarn also.

I suppose this means I have broken my knitting resolution by casting these on with my cardigan still on the needle, but I needed something portable, and the cardi is getting unwieldy. It will stay home and my socks will travel with me. More pics to follow.

I've never done a fandom knit before, but I picked up this fantastic stripey yarn a while back in the colorway "Time Traveler," so I may have to knit up some Doctor Who themed knee socks...
