I guess technically some of these aren’t our favorite fandom phrases as much as they are just our favorite fandom quotes, but they are all things that we say on a fairly regular basis. You may not think that there is any reason to ever say, “It’s LeviOsa, Not LevioSA”, but trust me when I say that it is uttered more often then any of us should care to admit. In true Tipsy Verse fashion we’ve actually got nine fandom phrases for you: four for me, four for Tiffany, and one extra special one that we share. Honestly, I’m surprised that we were able to come up with four different ones each, but really we both love and frequently say most of these phrases. I’m also astounded that we were able to pick phrases outside of Harry Potter and that there is not a single Mean Girls quote on here. Of course, we could probably do a whole post on Mean Girls quotes (what millennial girl couldn’t).

Unlike most of our Five Fandom Friday posts, this one does not really have explanations for each of the fandom phrases that we’ve chosen. I mean, how are you supposed to explain why you like a phrase? We just like them and the phrases literally speak for themselves. However, the phrase that we have in common is the exception, because it definitely deserves more than a little explaining as to why it ended up as a shared favorite fandom phrase.

The phrase we share is just one word. A word that is spoken so often in our verbal and written communications that there is no way that we could not write this post with out including it. The reason this phrase needs explanation is because while I am a huge Stargate SG-1 fan, Tiffany knows next to nothing about it. In fact, outside of knowing this Stargate fandom phrase and the character who utters it, Tiffany knows little else about the show. For the longest time Tiffany would say this word and our friend Kristin and I would respond by sending a picture of the character. However, now that we’ve explained the reference Tiffany no longer says “Indeed” she now just sends us a picture of Teal’c.
