She's rich and famous and has been for decades now. Reading/writing/reccing a fanfic or reblogging fanart isn't going to make her more famous than she already is. All the normies in the real world don't know or care about our drama here on Tumblr and your keyboard warriorism won't make them start.

I am convinced that at least 90% of all the people who attack anyone who likes Harry Potter only do so because they are bullies who use the fact that it had become socially acceptable online to harass that fandom. You're half right. It's not just because it's "Socially acceptable" but because the people who do the hardest are the people who used to have "I'm a Harry Potter fan" as their entire personality. I have a question for the mods and otherwise those that might know the answer regarding fandom problem 11387 and 11324.
When were these submissions sent in? And are there more Harry Potter related submissions going to be posted in the next couple of days? And I think this one is more for everyone else, does anyone know what happened around the time that these submissions were sent in that might have triggered these submissions being sent in?
In general I have been avoiding the Harry Potter fandom for a while now. So I am mostly really confused to what was the leadup to this.
The submissions being posted now are from around February or March. There are a few more coming up in the queue. I don't know if any specific event sparked it, but we do get Harry Potter related submissions quite often so I wouldn't necessarily say they were triggered by a specific event, besides most likely incidents the submitters have encountered themselves. The announcement of the remake series may kick up some additional dust, but so far I don't think I've seen any submissions specifically related to the remake series.

It's the HP-haters who made a huge fuss about the game and made it relevant to people who would never give a shit about some stupid wizard school game otherwise. It's the HP haters who randomly revive the topic of HP once in a while to remind people they should umh... stop talking about it.
Agressively telling people to stop engaging with something only 1 brings more attention to it and 2 makes them want to engage even harder. And you do it over and over and over.
If you want HP to stop being talked about then stop fucking talking about it. Stop feaking out at JKR's every single hateful tweet and every new HP game or show. Negative engagement is still engagement.
