PLEASE indoctrinate me into your fandoms. i’m so bored rn and i don’t have any interests scratching my brain. my top ones are youtube series and fiction (horror) podcasts, but any media will do!!! a few that have scratched my brain really well are the magnus archives, life series/hermitcraft (and most of the smaller minecraft series with those youtubers), malevolent, camp here and there, and just roll with it riptide. PLEASE IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE TOO SIMILAR TO ANY OF THOSE! BUT I DO LOVE QUEER REP/IMPLICATIONS, HORROR, COMEDY, AND ANGST AND ANY MIX OF THAT IS AMAZING. THANK YOU. (DOOMED YAOI MY BELOVED)

What fandom should I get into?

okay does anyone have any like „fandom recommendations“? i don’t know if this sounds weird but i haven’t watched or read anything new to me in ages and i would just love to get into something new. just to like experience and fall in love with everything for the first time again and all that good stuff. can you guys recommend anything? i‘m not even sure how to describe what i‘m looking for because i don’t even know 😭

I love the ranfren fandom, we are just a small groups of autistics who are either bullied in school or are seen as the weirdos, any ways here are some things I like about the fandom :D

The fandom seems to be very accepting of our nyon fictive, we were scared everyone would make fun of him

We all very quickly accepted captain howdie's terms of use

Everyone seems to be really nice about people's art (with other fandoms I've been in people hate on others for fan art)

It's extremely accepting from what I've seen

The fandom is so nice it helped me convince a shit ton of my friends to read ranfren

This is all just my experience in the fandom and if your new I hope you like the ranfren posts on Tumblr as well and have just as good a time as I have, if you don't have a clue what ranfren is here's the link :D

Thank you for sending this! I answered a few days ago but this is like a do-over because I have since wildly regretted not mentioning some things. 

First of all, not mentioning my go-to meta-writers who are so the reason I’m in this fandom at all -- @whaticameherefor, @fiona-fififi, @gallavictorious and @damngcoffee are the people I’ve talked to the longest here and who have been the most encouraging, but hey all also write great stuff worth reading all the time. It’s hard to point to just one. I’m always here for the deepest of deep-dives and they have got that covered. 

I also want to mention @psychicskulldamage -- like I could write about Gallavich fan artists all day, but in particular I have so loved the series of key Gallavich moments. He draws in a bunch of styles and I enjoy them all. But this is the one where I was particularly knocked out recently. The selection of that particular image... amazing. 

Also: @doodlevich is hard because it’s like “what do you pick???” -- it’s all so fun.
