I also wonder how come it only just now came to light that it is a ‘trusted friend’ outside the movement who is handling the money and the contract?
We also have confirmation that someone else called and spoke to a Mike who corroborated some of the information above.
It’s interesting that the focus shifted away from the Billboards to the trademark mess when they missed the initial deadline for the payment... It is also interesting that they demand full transparency from LGBTfans and demand to know the name, number and home address of the person who filed for trademark, yet are suddenly unwilling to share the name and personal info of the person who signed the Billboard contracts and who is therefore responsible for any fuckups. On account of what? That this trusted friend is doing it as a personal favour? Why wasn’t it mentioned before? Who says that it isn’t the same for LGBTfans, there are legit safety reasons why they wouldn’t want to give out the name of the person who filed.
It’s also interesting that lgbtviewers and Mix pointedly ignored asks about the billboards right up until today when suddenly several people called and suddenly the fact none of it was paid has come to light.
You know what else is interesting? LGBTfans has never asked any of us for money. They have also never claimed leadership of the movement. They literally do not owe us transparency about anything, it is a courtesy at best - yet on the other hand LGBTviewers and Mix in particular has in turn claimed leadership (self-appointed) and asked for money. To go to a personal paypal account based out of the Philippines. She literally OWES you full transparency because two in one, she called herself a leader and she took your money. How come she’s the one with all the info but the ‘council’ elected by tumblr knows nothing about the billboards which supposedly represents them... But she has the gall to use excuse after excuse. She’s ‘busy’, ‘a friend is handling’... Hm I wonder how else she is going to try and Mix it up?
