There are two types of Anakin/Vader fans... the Luke Skywalker Type and the Kylo Ren Type.

The Luke Type obviously is very much into the idea that Anakin began as a genuinely good and loving person and that his fall to the dark side was tragic. Very concerned about Anakin’s life of slavery to various masters. Maintains that Anakin knew what he did was wrong but thought he had doomed himself to the darkness, and needed his son’s persistence to convince him he could return to the light. Other signs of being a Luke Type: loves the redemption in RotJ, cries over the “tell your sister you were right about me” line, and is very invested in the Skyguy and Snips dynamic. Writes “Anakin Never Fell to the Dark Side and Everyone Lives” fanfic, cries over what could have been.

The Kylo Ren Type is all yaaaas Vader and is in love with yellow-eyed Vaderkin will talk your ear off about how Vader was in Anakin all along just waiting to get out and may even go so far as to say that Anakin was merely the mask that Vader wore prior to his ascendance to the dark side. Doesn’t see Vader as Tragic but rather as Triumphant. Believes he had no regrets... didn’t really turn back to the light just chose to betray the Emperor because that’s the way of the Sith. Concerned about preserving the badass mystique, looking forward to pushing the limit of Star Wars brutality in Rogue One. Thinks the Luke Type woobifies Vader. Wanted Ahsoka to die, probably.

These two kinds of fans both identify as Anakin Stans and maybe they thought they could be friends for a while, but make no mistake, they are natural enemies.
