Riot has already said before that champion interactions in-game are not 100% true-to-lore. Yes, many of them are, but some are meant to be tongue-in-cheek for the fun of it, or are meant to be “IF these characters were to meet”. Some of them are technically true to lore but might be true to older lore, or stories that haven’t even happened yet.

So basically, you can’t look at the interactions and be like “OH MY GOD X AND Y KNOW EACH OTHER” just because they crack a joke or make a comment. It ain’t that deep.

(I’m not saying that should stop people from roleplaying what they want or headcanoning what they like, I’m just saying not to throw these things around like they’re hard fact, ok?)
