The fact that Jason Todd is regarded as the angry Robin is so funny to me. Jason's upbringing was rough, and it undoubtedly made him rough. He believed that some men were better off dead. He hated rapists, slavers, and abusers, and he would treat them rougher than most other criminals. All of that, but he was happy. He liked protecting people, and he liked being beside Batman. The times he went "too far" were to protect the unprotected (women, children, the abused, homeless, etc.). He loved his father, he loved his mother, and he loved Shelia up until his last breath. Sheila, who set him up. Sheila, who he barely knew, who watched as he was beaten within an inch of his life. He tried his best to save her life. He died trying to. Jason "I'm Robin, and being Robin gives me magic" Todd was a good kid. Bruce, Dick, and Alfred knew so, too.
